Just asking a question here....and am no way advocating this at all.. If The U.S. were to conventionally fight the Russians, plane for plane, missile for missile, Ship for ship, and troop for troop. How do you think that would turn out?

Seems as if the Ukrainians have destroyed scores of Russian equipment, and killed and wounded tens of thousands in this 3 day war with equipment supplied by various nations. The Russians were turned back at Kiev, and are now bogged down by the lowly Ukrainians. How would U.S. forces fair?

Possibly. The three of them right now are engaged in war games in the Far East. India likely wouldn't turn on Russia and after the stunt the US/Pelosi pulled, we probably pushed China and Russia closer to each other for the next 20-30 years.

Most likely not. However, with the strategy there is no win for the Ukraine just the details of how they lose will be determined. Under their best military performance what do they earn? The Russians are not going to allow this area to have masses amount of troops/tanks/drones sitting there.

Russia appears to want it to turn into a black hole for the time being, at least for the winter and see how it goes. The real war is in Germany and rest of Europe.

They would be vaporized in the Ukraine. Its like saying how would the U.S. forces fair against India if all they use is sticks and stones, its moot. You don't determine what the other side uses.
The Russians are not going to invest $800b per year into their military as that is a waste of money.

The Russians probably wouldn't fair well in most places unless they went fully dark i.e. they took out all the grids and all the satellites. At that point, I actually think they could do better but its mostly moot.

They need to step up their whataboutism game. They throw out whataboutisms in an effort to side track an argument. On the other hand, I guess when we throw out whataboutisms, it is to juxtapose two or more similar items and ask why our behavior and thinking is one way in this instance but 180 out of phase on other similar situations... in other words to point out the hypocrisy and flaws in their logic.

Makes you wonder if all this sanctions stuff went away today if energy prices over there will see a drastic price reduction. What would be crazy is a double or triple from here, are to imagine how a country even runs at all.
(I'm not saying that will happen, I think they ease a little)

Summary of territory gains/losses over the past 3 months.

Net Russian gain of 612 kms = 234 square miles... or a 23 x 10 mile plot...

Ukraine's total square miles = 233,800.

and now Ukraine apparently making significant gains in Kherson.

Has there been any word on if these Warthogs were involved in the Kherson counteroffensive? The way you guys talked, it would have been well suited for this mission.
