I doubt Willie would make an everyday 1B, but I can imagine AA trading 75% of our AAA staff to Oakland next summer for Shea or the other A’s catcher.

And get a real hitter to DH or use it to get guys off their feet every once in a while. I know that’s hard to envision but playing the entire infield, especially the guys up the middle (to soon include Mike because he’s playing every day) isn’t a good idea.
