If the amounts are so small why are we wasting the time and money? This is absurdity to pander to those who simply don't want to pay for services received.

Why not move to car loans next? Boats? RV?

I don't agree with the policy either. I do like the monthly payment cap percentage though.

Seems like another area most agree on about federal loans is reducing the interest rate to 0%. But Congress has to approve that, Potus can't go it alone there.

Just get the feds out of the loan business. That will have a greater effect than any convoluted, porked up bill that tries to address an interest rate. That's a terrible idea for the govt as it will cost everyone more in the long run
