Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

I know you're from the Chattanooga area. You a Soddy or a Bradley Central guy by any chance?
Edit: I should add that i ask because Maynard looks like he has a rudimentary knowledge of what he's doing.

Dont know about back then but Maynard had already served and been honorably discharged from the Army and was in pretty good shape...today he holds the highest belt in BJJ and has his own "dojo" or whatever you call a place people join to go grapple, submit, choke and torture eachother. He also takes his "guy "? Pronounced Gee with him when TOOL goes on the road so he can roll around on the mat with sweaty dudes from other cities too lmao...Maynard is a badass, a real Renaissance man. Vineyards, distilleries, martial arts, writes every word of every TOOL song AFTER the music is completely done by Adam, Justin, and Danny....dude is as cool as the other side of the pillow. My son practices BJJ and I would too if not for my back surgeries btw...so i am just kidding when i give the BJJ guys (and wrestlers) a hard time about rolling around on a mat hugging on sweaty boys like they do...while BJJ wouldnt help much in a crowded barfight, in the parking lot or really anywhere you can get ahold of some jackazz 1on1 BJJ is absolutely dominant. Those well practiced in the art regardless of size or gender will take pretty much any regular unarmed man down, choke them out, and then decide their opponents fate. It is incredibly effective against even much larger and stronger opponents.
