Rogers just outside of Bentonville
There's a place just south of you in Rogers called the Big Orange. It's in the Pinnacle Hills Promenade just off I-49. They have fantastic burgers. It's one of those places that gets creative - so far more than just a good burger. It's really worth the drive; we'd drive up from Fayetteville when I visited my son, and it was always worth it.
Who is Steph Curry?
I haven't payed any attention to the NBA in years. That said, Steph Curry is a truly amazing shooter...in my opinion, the best in history. I would say that he is probably in the Top 10 all-time NBA players. What makes that a judgement call is that he is poor defensively, so it matters how you weight such things. While a truly gifted shooter, Steph isn't in the same league as Jordan as an all-round player.Hard to make a case that he is not. Without question the best shooter in human history...his range is jaw dropping. He is already the all time leader in 3s and will when he is done he will be a couple THOUSAND threes ahead of anyone else...but he rely has a complete game now even as a defender. He also works harder to get open than anyone has EVER had to...often having to make 2 or 3 laps around the halfcourt and have multiple picks set for him to ever even get a shot off....because teams know his daggers will bury them. I am not a huge Bball fan anymore like i was as a kid, i watch our BasketVols and then Warriors highlights and playoff games when i can. Watching Steph sleeve shots from half court or a step past with a hand or 2 directly in his face is to watch true greatness though...there has never been anyone like him, not even Dell who was a great shooter and NBA 6th man award winner in his own right.
There are a million videos of Steph in his pregame warmups shooting from 20 rows back in the stands...opposite free throw lines...full court 74 footers...not that BS where somebody shoots it 500 times with their buddies shagging balls and everybody goes crazy after an hour of trying when 1 finally goes in. He can hit those shots consistently all day long because its part of his daily warm up. Playing a game of horse etc or on the rare chance he doesnt have a hand in his face, i bet hes a 75% shooter from half court. Thats not an exaggeration. Theres never been anything like him...he has changed the game of basketball. Kids are now making it into college and the pros who have modeled their game after him...Ja Morant etc...they dont train for the highlight dunks, they spend endless hours in the gym working on their release and movement without the ball...trying to be the next Steph not the next Jordan. Watching him now in his prime is like when we watched peak Peyton being his own offensive coordinator and changing the play with audibles based on what the defense aligned to stop him. It had never been done before....the way Steph plays ball has never been done before either...and both guys changed the way their respective sport is played league wide.
Did he finally move to his beloved Russia?I know some of you guys like to argue with @Rasputin_Vol, but he hasn't been around for a while. Does anyone know what happened to him?

Not yet but man those look nice. I'm a lab lean over retriever but I want golden more than brown. I've just always liked golden. I have thought about getting added to a wait list for a breeder in Alabama. What is keeping me from doing it is the concern my wife might have a dog carriage/bag spending issues. The last thing I need money flowing to keep the dog looking cute with expensive accessories.
Failed in his mission to russify VN and was sent to a re-education camp. Seriously, hope he's okay.I know some of you guys like to argue with @Rasputin_Vol, but he hasn't been around for a while. Does anyone know what happened to him?
Bone fish is a frequent fav of ours.I just had a first...
Went to a restaurant here called the Bonefish Grill and ordered the steak and shrimp (delicious by the way) and the steak came out well past medium rare. More like between medium well and well done.
Before I had the chance to even say anything, the waitress had me put it on the appetizer plate and went back to the kitchen to get a new one.
Not only did I get a filet as a replacement (it was a sirloin that was supposed to be with the meal) the chef brought the new one out himself and apologized for not getting it right.
I was speechless. I honestly didn't know what to say except "no big deal, brother, and thank you for making it right."
If you're ever in Rogers, go to the Bonefish Grill. Get the Imperial Dip as an appetizer. You'll thank me later.
