"I understand that some people think (Bryce's recruitment) is not normal, because I know some of the people don't understand some of the things we are doing," Butler said. "I can assure you that all of this is for nothing more than the interest of Bryce making a good decision. He knows this choice is going to impact coaches, players, a university and a football program."

"You better hope that BB doesn't ask Coach O or Janzen Jackson for advice when chosing between UT and LSU. I mean they were both "locks" to be swamp rats, weren't they?"

Touche, OHVol40. Yes, I was one who maintained Orgeron would go to LSU. I aint gonna try to predict anything else any time soon.

That sentence is what makes me nervous about BB coming to UTK. If I was that reporter, I would have asked what he (Butler) is getting out this situation.

It is just a guy trying to get as much face time in front of the camera, about his business. I don't think this is a reflection of Brown's character. IMO.

I agree and I was not suggesting anything negetive about BB's character. What makes me nervous is this Butler guy. All it takes is for him to act in the "interest" of BB and we can find ourselves in some hot water.

So its official Bryce is a Vol

As much as I hate myself for replying to your post and giving you the attention that you want/need, please grow up and stop wasting our time. Speaking for myself, I use this board as tool to get the information that I am interested in. I do not have the time to find a lot of this info on my own, so I rely on other fans on this board to provide it. A**clowns like yourself end up wasting my time by posting false information. So, please stop.

If ppl think that if he tells Shannon he wants to be a cane, and Miami won't send him another offer then you all are crazy. This was just to try and get him to sign, plus its pissing Shannon off from what I hear. I still like our chances but if he ends up here or Miami that's cool with me. I'm a fan of both but Miami does not need him as much as us. Just hope the NCAA stops this crap next year and hope for BB this guy can live up to the hype.

+1

First step go to the recruiting thread. Second, hit the Vols only button. Third, go to the Bryce Brown thread. Fourth, read for your convenience start with today's only posts. Fifth, click on them and you will find them.

Finally, this is assuming you can read. Very easy process. This Thread is in the wrong Forum and is about 8 posts to long of which I am guilty of three of them.

Again, a better thread would be BB took a Crap today in the don't give a sh*t Forum.

signed Board Nazi.

It's a little odd to see such a venomous rant against a newbie by someone which such a serene avatar pic.

"No, that's not safe to say at all," he said. "There are more than three schools, with K-State being one of them. Oregon, LSU and Miami, as well as Tennessee and K-State (are all equal). Oh, as well as Clemson. They're all still equal. We're not trying to narrow this down or make cuts."

Good grief. Somebody lay out three rings, hire a ringmaster and run a tent up the pole. This kid's recruitment has turned into an absolute circus. Last week Clemson was out of consideration, now "we're not trying to narrow this down or make cuts."

I don't like the precedent that's being set by this kid. It's bad enough that he is torturing all of the schools who are "still equal" this far past Signing Day. It's a whole other issue that he has a premium web site to hear the latest word from the kid's mentor. I hope the "liquid fast" helps bring some clarity.

Less of a head case than Jarvis Giles (IMO). I know Giles is enrolled and isnt prolonging...but he has major issues. :w00t:

Are you kidding? Giles was a simple case of a kid who reopened his recruitment after the school that he was committed to canned their head coach.

Bryce Brown is setting a disturbing precedent. These kids are prima donna's already. This is getting out of hand. He's holding the schools that are on his list hostage.

Let's just hope he's not another Willie Williams. Talk about the recruiting bust of the century.

Wow ...I think that is the same guy that poured beer on my grandma because she wouldnt stand up for the wave... due to the fact she was recovering from a hip replacement

Maybe during his liquid fast he will have a dream that he is in Orange. Worked for Darren Myles... :)

I agree... but at the same time, his decision will impact himself more than any of us... so if he needs time, I understand. What's frustrating is that he's kind of skating by the unwritten rule of committing on signing day... and the fact that we are big fans... and impatient.

That's just it. He's torturing the fans. And the teams that don't get selected in the Bryce Brown Sweepstakes are going to be madder than heck.

I have a hard time believing that if he was a 3-star RB recruit that he would have to go on a Jack Lalanne juice fast to figure out which school he wants to play at.
