RavinDave mentioned something similar with drones.
We have a bit over 1,950 miles to patrol and defend. How many drones, techs, maintenance, storage, fuel, etc are needed to cover that distance adequately? I have no idea.

Not a clue. I imagine it would take a layered approach of multiple strategies.

I see no reason a physical impediment couldn’t be part of the multi-strategy solution though.

I don't disagree with that statement.
My point is aimed at those in either party that are quick to criticize a president when there is poor economic news without being able to point to a specific policy that in their opinion created the situation. If they are going to take this approach, then my argument was we have to also give credit to a president when there is good economic news.

Most are pointing to specific policies and actions Joe has taken that deserve critism. All you have done is Toobin all over yourself of some precieved report that has huge holes and manipulations. You can speak to no specifics to support your victory because Joe has done nothing to help. This your generality argument....just sad

If Abbot will invest some of that Texas oil money in fleets of busses and start dropping off illegals to every city that claimed to be a sanctuary city when Trump was in office and every gated community north of Richmond Va .. we would see a lot of knew ideas on how we should fix immigration flowing out of Congress on a daily basis . He did a political stunt and accidentally found a solution , we will see how big his balls are now .

I've said the same many times about the withdrawal if you'll calm down a bit and read. It was a cluster but the main point is we're out. It had been a cluster for many, many years and no one ever just said "let's go home." It should have been mission accomplished in 2002 and none of this ever happens. How many military members have been lost to suicide this year due to the burdens placed on them with this useless war fighting? More than 13? Squandered...

If either party had the slightest interest in fixing illegal immigration they would do 2 things:

1. Make hiring or renting to an illegal alien a federal offense with at least a year in prison. I'm not talking about holding the low level managers accountable, I'm talking about the senior level corporate officers. Those people start looking at going to federal prison and they will stop the practice. But alas they are also the ones writing the checks to the candidates campaigns and PACs so it will never happen.

2. End birthright citizenship as it is now. Require that at least 1 parent be a citizen before citizenship is bestowed on a child.

Well you should have stuck to that prior stance instead on jumping in with both feet on the current stupidity of your posts in rod exchange and stop trying to deflect away from it. I made no reference to the decision to get us out. I merely pointed to the keystone cops method in which we did so that needlessly got people killed. We had to quickly rotate people back into that fiasco to deal with it.

And I don’t blame you I’d try to change the topic too.
