They could've picked a random fan out of the stands and it wouldn't have mattered. This team just doesn't have that It factor.
7 games left heads up, need to go 5-2. The bigger problem though is our finish is a lot tougher than theirs.

Before this series we had the best record in baseball since June 1st. We got deGrom’d and Scherzer’d and the Mets got lucky ass hits. It’s baseball. It’s our first three game losing streak this year. It happens

The Mets just have our number right now, and maybe they’re in our heads a bit. It’s human nature. You think that they can’t keep hitting infield choppers and perfectly placed bloopers, yet they keep doing it game after game. Gets frustrating.

This too. His line drives over second base used to drive me crazy but he could hit literally anyone even on their best days as well as work counts and drive up pitches. We don't have anyone that is doing that right now.
