It's a felony to sell a handgun across state lines without a background check and FFL transfer.Because the current gun laws make it ridiculously easy to buy guns in one state and sell them in another.
Just give me your ball park extimate.
What percentage of guns in circulation today were initially purchased legally?
What percentage of guns in Chicago today were initially purchased legally?

You're missing my point. How many guns are "legally" purchased in one state and then illegally sold in another? This is false. The law already prohibits this. The law requires that interstate gun sales/transfers be performed through a licensed dealer (requiring a background check).
This is why gun enthusiasts make the argument that gun control activists are really only after legally owned guns and lawful gun owners.
Lmao how do you stop that exactly. And if it’s the myth that Indiana is the reason for Chicago’s high crime rate why doesn’t Indiana who is awash with even more guns have the same issues. Hint. It’s not the legal selling of the gunsI see you are still missing the point.
They should not "legally" sell guns that can be reasonably assumed to have a high probability of then being sold illegally.
