They should compare this shootout to a typical YouTube shootout between cops and an assailant. 300 rounds spent by 15 cops vs 10 rounds for one person.

As I’ve said many times before, each individual is different and most cops will never fire their weapon in the line of duty over the course of a career. With such low odds of ever having to resort to lethal force there would be much less cops on the street if they had to prove that kind of efficiency under pressure. Chances are this kid grew up around guns and has had a significant amount of training to hit with such precision from nearly twice the recommended distance.

That is some good shooting. I usually only practice a lot from about 10-15 yards. I know for damn sure I wouldn't hit the target 8/10 times from 40 yards.

I normally practice at 7-10. But I work gas stations now so distance is a concern of mine too. So I’ll also train outdoors at 40ish yards as well. Can’t get there with my compact but my full size makes music on steel from that distance. That being said is the reason I carry both at all times

The homicide rate literally dropped to less than half since the 90's peak of murder and violent crime, even as gun in circulation have tripled and concealed carry laws became nearly ubiquitous. Get a grip.

You got that right. It’s funny how fast minds can change given the situation. I’d bet my right arm SOMEONE in that food court was dead set against guns until about 4 days ago
