Florida Attorney General Asks Biden to Proclaim Fentanyl a Weapon of Mass Destruction

Flordia Attorney General Ashley Moody is urging President Joe Biden to take drastic action regarding illicit fentanyl. Following two mass overdoses in Florida amid an increase in overdoses attributed to the deadly drug, Moody is asking Biden and Congress to take this threat seriously by declaring fentanyl a weapon of mass destruction.

This move would require the Department of Homeland Security, the Justice Department, and the Pentagon to work as a team to stop or slow fentanyl deaths. In a letter to Biden, Moody said:

These are the dumbest individuals on the face of the planet.

From your linked CNN article:
"Biden's approval rating among Democrats for handling the economy is also on the decline (62% approve, down from 71% this spring). And on inflation, it is barely above water (51% of Democrats approve, 47% disapprove)."
There is a few on here that are definetly in that 62% and 51%.

"You triple our troubles and we are better off than any people on earth".

Fact.

"..and if government would shut the doors and sneak away for a few weeks, we'd never miss them."

I've never heard this quote from Reagan before, but this accurately depicts my stance on government.

Cuellar: ‘Only 30%’ of Border Patrol Agents Are on Border in Some Parts as More Drugs and People Come in

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) said that “in the southern part of the area from Laredo down to the valley,” only 30% of Border Patrol agents are actually on the border because the rest are doing processing and administrative work, and that at a time when “we have larger amounts of drugs coming in, more people coming in, we have a lesser number of Border Patrol agents doing their work.”

Cuellar said the key question is “how do we cooperate with the state and the local governments and not just work separately? And I know they are doing that, but we’ve got to do a lot more because at the same time, we’ve got to understand that most of the drugs…don’t come in between the bridges. They actually come through the bridges. At one time, 90% of the fentanyl [was] coming through our bridges. So, we’ve got to make sure we have the right technology, the right — the canines, the personnel on the bridges.”

EXCLUSIVE: There Are So Many Illegals Pouring Over The Border The Biden Admin Is Begging Journalists To Help Process Them

A federal agency that oversees taxpayer-funded news outlets around the globe is begging staff, which includes journalists, to help process the massive wave of migrants coming across the U.S.-Mexico border, according to an internal email obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“I am excited to share an opportunity for you to serve on a detail with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a member of their Volunteer Force,” U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) Acting Chief Executive Officer Kelu Chao wrote to agency employees in the email, offering volunteer assignments in California, Texas and Arizona. “As U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) continues to encounter large numbers of individuals along our Southwest Border, DHS needs your assistance to help ensure our nation has a safe, orderly, and humane immigration system.”

A fiscally responsible / individual liberty candidate would mop up in today's climate.

*assuming the candidate had the same access to money, press, and was at least equally on par with other candidates.*
That "individual liberty" part isn't going to happen. Republicans and Democrats both have shown that over the last few years. Both parties try to talk about "liberty and freedom", then do the direct opposite in their next breath. Populism has taken hold in both parties, and that is not a good thing.

I'd be on board with a candidate that was a centrist on economic issues, slightly right leaning on foreign policy, and full on libertarian on social and cultural issues. Well old school 70s libertarian, not modern day right-wingers larping as libertarians cause they want to smoke weed legally while supporting denying equal treatment to groups they hate.

Like the sound of that candidate! That’s where I find myself.

What do you think about the modern day ACLU?

Heard a guy in an interview taking about a time when the ACLU actually fought for extremist groups right to March and hold rally’s. Of course they most likely despised these groups, but free speech was just that damn important. Kind of crazy to think about in light of the current ACLU.

DC is only 'experiencing a fraction of the disaster created by Biden's reckless border policies': Texas Gov. Greg Abbott tears into Washington Mayor Bowser complaining that city's homeless shelters are filling up with migrants 'dumped' by his state

  • Texas Governor Greg Abbott's team said Monday that Washington, D.C. is 'experiencing a fraction of the disaster created by President Biden'
Governor Greg Abbott's office claims that Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser is only seeing a 'fraction of the disaster' at the southern border after she complained that her city's homeless shelters are filling up with migrants bused from Texas and Arizona.

'Border communities are overrun and overwhelmed, and Governor Abbott launched the border bus mission back in April to help provide support to these communities pleading for help where the Biden Administration is dumping migrants,' Abbott spokeswoman Renae Eze told DailyMail.com in a statement.

She added: 'With our nation's capital now experiencing a fraction of the disaster created by President Biden's reckless open border policies that our state faces every single day, maybe he'll finally do his job and secure the border.'

Other than the Centrist on economic issues (we need a strict hardline constitutionalist) I’m with you on that candidate.

They should still fight for extremist groups to march and hold rallies. I'm not a fan of censorship of public demonstrations. Even if I despise what they believe or promote.
