You will never catch me arguing with someone who feels like you do. I have a 5 year old daughter and I’m constantly told I would change my mind if someone hurt her. My opinion about it is based off an extreme distrust of the Government and a belief that God does not intend for one man to control whether another lives or dies, unless it’s in war( which should be a last resort) or in defense of another life. The Bible talks about the role of government. There is a reason our government are based on tenants of the Bible. God bestows a great responsibility on government and the consequences of good and evil is discussed. You'll notice the mention of liberty.

There are some stories that are so gruesome that a person is in horror reading about it. The events that unfolded in that case are haunting and some of the worst that can be imagined. I read every detail available years ago and I was convinced multiple people deserved the death penalty.

I don't think it was the intentions for their to be a misuse of government. That is why there are as many levers in place to prevent conviction unless it's beyond a reasonable doubt and even then there is an appeals process.
