Wow that 2019 in state cycle was full of busts.

1. Maurice Hampton (LSU) in the portal for over a year
2. Eric Gray (Tennessee) transferred to OU
3. Bill Norton (UGA)
4. Joseph Anderson (uscjr) xferred to Purdue
5. Kane Patterson (Clemson) xferred to Vandy
6. Kristian Williams (Oregon) in the portal
7. Jackson Lampley (Tennessee)
8. Woodi Washington (Oklahoma)
9. Melvin McBride (Tennessee) medically retired
10. Keveon Mullins (uscjr) xferred to JSU

Did you guys know former #1 in state player Maurice Hampton who went to LSU, ended up in the portal last year and according to 247 never ended up anywhere?

I remember we all wanted him and there was someone on here suggesting he was gonna flip to us last minute.
He’s playing baseball at Samford now

Update: I'm out of quarantine and "recovered" from my Covid. Still a little congested. Never lost taste or smell which is apparently a characteristic of the new Omicron variant. Get tired super easily. Went to Walmart yesterday and was out of breath by the time I got to my truck - and I'd consider myself a young, athletic guy. So, I totally understand how many of our athletes have struggled coming back from Covid. (On that note: I bought a 65" TV lol. Can't wait for the fall.)

My wife isn't sick, yet. She's not had any major symptoms. Just a "funny" feeling in her throat (TWSS).

Baby is almost 3 months old now. Has been very irritable this week and congested. No fever. We think she might have a mild case and hopefully gets through this soon.

Thanks everyone for the prayers.
I tested positive this morning myself after spending all last week in the hospital with my wife’s mother (she had a stroke).

The whole thinking was it didn’t matter where he signed to play football…he was a MLB lock. Haven’t followed his diamond exploits.

Edit: Just did. Transferred to Samford for baseball only. Hit .254 (has trouble with breaking stuff). Most likely coming back for his senior season.

My two year old and I caught it this week. Almost exact same situation as you. My wife and 2month old are still in the clear (we’ve been quarantining from each other). She tested negative but also complained about a scratchy throat. I thought I had lost my sense of smell bc I couldn’t smell my daughters dirty diapers when I was changing her, but I can smell everything else, so I think I only lost the ability the smell poop? Which… seems like a win I guess. We’re on day 4, and I’m less achy but still have a pretty solid cough. It’s no fun, for sure.

I need some help getting tickets for this fall. Normally, our schedule is so jammed that coming to a game is next to impossible. Finally, we have a week/ weekend available to come down for a game. It's the 22nd of October. It's the UT Martin game, but its better than nothing. What is your recommendation on getting tickets? I'm concerned about counterfeit tickets. I'm just starting my search. Thanks, Charlie

Wild. You know my wife came over to take the baby from me earlier and said, "Whew she stinks!" And I couldn't smell it. But I can smell everything else. I figured I just hadn't gotten a good whiff, but maybe this variant stops sulfur lol.

Omicron B.A. 5 is supposed to be "mild" and you don't lose smell or taste. But I also just ate a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and couldnt taste the eggs.

We all know the defense has got to improve but where at the most, LB, DB, DL. I think the most important thing is to stop teams on third down and get off the field. Think about how many big plays we gave up on third down and all three positions were the weak spot at different times.........that is what is troubling but with that being said I really think we have added too and matured in a way that could make our D somewhat of a bright spot.
I think D Line is the key area to improve. Quarterbacks had forever to pick us apart. I love what we have in this recruiting class, but we need disrupters ASAP. They will make everyone else look better.

Between Spencer Rattler and Will Levis.... who is the more overrated?
Not even a comparison in my book. Rattler is +25 in career qbr. 3.33 td/int vs not even 2:1 for Levis. +1.3 ypa and +6% completion.

The only argument might be Levis's trajectory is more upward. But at this point, that's just a guess. Rattler had a great SO year and even last year (his worst season) he was more efficient than Levis (his best season).

Jmo but I could see both having so-so years. Levis lost the only good OC UK has had in all of the Stoops years and Wandale. Rattler is going to be in a completely different situation than when he was surrounded by great talent.

I'd pump the breaks on both bigly, but if one does sling it around at a high level, I'd think Rattler is more likely.
