@Plove23 just one thing when you come to a game. You want have a voice the next day because you have to scream to talk with the person next to you and from hollering so much cause this O scores so fast and so often. Its a beautiful thing to see when 100,000 people come together for a Saturday afternoon game at Neyland. I can't wait until you experience it.

You left off Reggie Cobb and Darren McFadden.

Hmmm....not sure if being sarcasdick. I can barely remember Cobb and don't see any of McFadden in him....besides, I was comparing him to Vols players he has attributes of. Patterson for his speed and cutback ability at his size, JJ for the dog in him and his ability to get 50/50 balls ans break tackles and Velus for having that hybrid RB/WR body type that can play in the slot, on the outside or take direct handoffs. I'm hoping he lives up to all this potential because we finally have a coach that can use unique weapons correctly and scheme them touches.

He came to watch one of my high school games in 99 as a favor to our team chaplain that knew him. Got us pumped up by having a Tennessee player on our sideline. We beat our rival that night. Hadn't beat them in nine years previously.

My claim to fame for a little while is he called me slobber knocker and said I hit harder than most of his teammates at Tennessee. Said I was the real deal. Ha. I know he was propping up a young high school player but it made my mom happy. Always respected him for that.
