If this happen, there needs to be an OUTRAGEOUS stink raised. Brittany will go on the View to tell her story and Joy and Whoopi will commend her bravery. Never once mentioning that the guy released sold thousands of the very weapons they want off the streets. I’m also betting that Victor wasn’t real big on the background checks.

Why would we trade someone important for someone unimportant? I am sure to each's family of course, they are important but clearly one is not like the other here.

I am all about getting her back, she is American, in spite of her screw up that put her in her current position. That said, this deal makes as much sense as trading Gary Ridgway (Green River Killer) for a jaywalker.

Like most things the Biden Administration is in a position of weakness. They would have to over deliver to even have a chance to get a person out of jail who "should" be humbled by her experience and lead to introspection about her own personal thoughts of her country that she runs down. There is no more humbling example.

I think Trump could negotiate better as an ex-POTUS in this situation that the collective in this administration. Just a gut feeling about the respect for a real leader as seen abroad vs neo-liberal global pandering.

She gets zero sympathy from me .

So hard to tell these days which links are Babylon Bee and which are actual news. Seeing this from earlier though, I have to confess gives me a chuckle. Its like the people who squeal to defund the police are the first ones to call when someone smashes through their own door at night and then are complaining when it takes longer than 2 minutes for a response.

you can’t really think any leader of any country respects our leadership right now and that includes our allies . Biden hasn’t done one thing that would garner him any respect from any leader . It is a fact that Trump was laughed at by the United Nation's General Assembly. He went off on another one of his wild boasts about accomplishing more in his first term than any other President ... and it was met with laughter.
