He ranked #21 nationally on Rivals. Usually the top 32 or so are considered 5* by signing day. I'm not sure how many 5*s rivals ends up with in a class, but if they add more, he'll be one of them. Why is Mauigoa not ranked a 5-star on Rivals?
the old orange bowl dump has been replaced with a hard rock dump. completely packed, sortaYeah...Miami is all over Twitter. Looks like ruiz is funding cell phone farms too...cause no way this

I just assume anyone ranked in the top32 is a 5* in general, since 247 does that many.
They should have some sort of consensus on exactly how many 5*s, 4*s, 3*s, etc will be awarded in each class.
It's actually a backtesting criteria. The reason is because there are 32 1st round draft picks and that is the metric they test against. They do already. You just mentioned it.
And that's a very unreliable way to go about it.
How is that there are 30 players that somehow are 5 stars every single year?
Answer: Because that's what the site wants.
That's woefully unreliable lol.
Eric Berry, Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin, Reggie Bush, Jadeveon Cloweny are real 5 stars. Yet, there are supposedly 30 players on their level EVERY SINGLE YEAR???
Nah. Hell nah!
No...they need to actually take the time to scout and learn the differences between players. Not just slap a star ranking.
Tennessee commit Nicholaus Iamaleava is a big reason for Mauigoa’s interest in the Vols.
“I’ve known him since I was a freshman when I was playing out in California,” Mauigoa said. “After I put out my top 13, Tennessee wasn’t on it but they started to reach out and Nico has been recruiting me really hard. He’s been very active and put the coaches in touch with me as well.
“I like coach Glenn (Elarbee, OL coach) and I’m starting to build a relationship with him. I’ve talked with coach Heupel too and they FaceTimed me once during a practice to show me how they do things there. They both seem like good, honorable men and I'm interested to learn more about them moving forward."

The fanbases have figured out the media is just toying with us for clicks and they really know nothing.Did anything happen today? I skipped the boards since it was only this predictable Ruiz blather. Looks like it was a quiet day.
Anyone else feel like we are officially back if we get this boom?
Or like
That light at the end of the tunnel is making me squint a little...
I will never consider us “back” until a few things happen.
1- UK, SC, Missouri and Vandy get back to being games we don’t even think about. You know the days when we counted those teams (except Missouri because we haven’t played them that long but you get the point) as automatic wins.
2. We beat Florida.
Until those two things happen we cannot ever be considered back. Getting Mauigoa along with Nico and some others is at least a step on the right direction.
