War in Ukraine

Insurgencies are the wars you can't win even after you won. The gift that keeps on giving ... Afghanistan (x2 - really all throughout history), Vietnam, ... Almost like a Hotel California where you can enter and never leave unless you really do cut your losses and just go. Russia will learn the lesson all over again in Ukraine if they blunder into a partial "win" and hang around. Russia probably should cut it's losses, give up Ukraine. and go home. Crimea could be at risk if it wasn't such a Russian infested playground - it's really the only warm resort spot they've ever had.
There won’t be an insurgency like that with Putin.

I never said Ukraine will be brought to their knees in a week.
That's been the narrative this entire time though.
Ukraine is just weeks away from total collapse. They should just give up now to avoid further bloodshed. No need for NaTO to arm Ukraine, Russia will just capture it when they collapse in a few weeks.

Where did I specifically say any of that? Please show proof.

Once again you guys accuse me of something I did not say.

Well sorry if you didnt, but I would have swore one of your talking points was about russia taking our equipment.

I might have fell into the same issue that you guys have with me constantly getting lumped in with the rest here.

hell, you're the worst of us
Hell yeah.

Ras and I are the lone constant holdovers from the Ukraine 1 thread. I miss it. Burhead and velo drop in every once and a while. Volprof got booted. Pacer was here early but havent seen him in a minute. We got that thread over the post limit, when there was one, and it stayed on topic, and avoided most of the cat fighting.

It’s hilarious as hell that Ras gets irritated we won’t buy his ******** and just puts everyone in ignore to soothe his delicate ass and then keeps posting his tripe in an echo chamber. Trolls aren’t interested in dialog they only must keep the disinformation going. Which is exactly what he’s doing.

Remember, Russia had a "tactical retreat" from Kyiv when they couldn't take it in 3 days. During that retreat they committed the most war crimes on the European continent since Yugoslavia broke up. Now they have focused on controlling the area they helped to steal in 2014..

3 days turned into 100+. Most Ukrainians know Russia ain't gonna make it past the eastern front.

Or they are confident at this point that Russia isnt targeting citizens...unlike Ukraine who is currently shelling the citizenry of Donestsk.

Russia needs to be prepared for a slow bleed. News of sappers and guerrillas will be showing up in your feed soon.

It wont be as big of a problem as you think it will. Most of this area is majority Russian and the vast majority of those who are pro-Ukrianian have likely fled.

LMAO Larry did you type that with a straight face? 🤡

Current in Donbas Russia is advancing via indiscriminate artillery saturation of an area laying waste to the entire space and then walking into the uninhabited destroyed area. That isn’t even open to Stooge alternative misrepresentation. And yes those areas are urban areas inhabited by citizens.

When your prediction is based on inaccurate assumptions...its going to turn out badly. Comparing a possible insurgency in Donbas and Southern Ukraine to Vietnam/Afghanistan/etc shows you dont understand the area.
