Umps didn’t give up 13 hits and a handful of HRs.

Pitching staff needs to it’s sh*t together
I agree, but no pitcher, no staff is always good. This staff is the best in CBB by far, but they are really due for some stinkers. I hope they snap out of it tomorrow, or this awesome season is over. We are just having a really bad spell at the worst possible time.

We beat ourselves, but the plate umpire was very inconsistent. He made bad calls against ND too. But he missed quite a few pretty bad, he didn’t cost us the game but it didn’t help any. 3-4 badly toned calls can change the momentum of a game. That’s all right we come out all business tomorrow and Sunday we will be going to Omaha! GBO!

Sorry, I’m still new to watching, so please excuse my multiple mistakes, but this team made me a viewer (plus a friend suggested it). Even if we lose tomorrow, we’re not the losers (I refuse to believe that). I don’t care what any of you say or post, I’m happy for me that I found a new passion for another sport besides football and basketball.
I agree..this a special team no matter what happens from here. They deserve to win the title, but the best team literally almost never wins the title in college baseball. It is just a weird deal. All you have to do is have two bad games and you're done.

Our starting pitching as a whole has picked the worst possible time to go in to a funk, and it usually takes a few games to work out of one, but we don't have a few games...we have one to pitch well, hit and play good defense tomorrow, or it is over. All those awesome dominating wins...and we are 9 innings from being tossed by a team that isn't half as talented...

But that's just baseball..🤷‍♂️

#8 East Carolina over #9 Texas is the only non "upset" in Supers so far. And Louisville is up 4-2 on #5 TA&M right now.

Why did Anderson get thrown. Never saw what he did that was so bad.

For coming out on the field to argue Gilbert's ejection. Luckily, Tony V stopped and checked his temper before he was tossed, too. After some of the other incidents, capped off by Beck's gesture last weekend, UT has been told to rein it in. They knew they weren't going to get a lot of tolerance... and won't for the rest of the season.

So our hypotheses is correct that the NCAA wants us out of the tournament

Us against the ncaa…cool

ND might be the antidote with their starting pitching. Honestly our pitching hasn’t been great lately. Let’s see how tomorrow goes.

No different than basketball. 1 bad game and out. Two games at least allows for 1 bad pitching outing to not end season.

Assuming we take care of business who is the projected game 3 starter?
I assume tomorrow we work with Dollander then Burns and Walsh. Then Sunday it's Beam, Connell, Mclaughlin, and Walsh.

We need Dollander to give his best outing and the bats to build a lead. Then switch Connell and Burns.

I understand the ruling, but I’ve enjoyed the brashness of this team. It’s helped me become a fan, but I trust CTV will keep them focused.

This is so stupid. They make watching the game fun. F those political little pricks whos feelings are hurt.

They want UT to tone it down. It would be nice to have a non-controversial, methodical blowout W tomorrow.

Applying a new standard the last three weeks of the season is the epitome of bias. If the NCAA didn't like it, they should have informed UT before they spent the whole season doing it. You cannot change the rules at the end without intentionally targeting an outcome.

The NCAA better be careful because there are a lot worse things than mustard bottles and range balls. They keep showing negative bias to an already unhinged fanbase based on the past two decades of results and sooner or later something serious is going to happen and that isn't going to benefit UT or the NCAA.

Ironically, I agree that the team needs to dial it down a notch. Rather than just celebrating, they have allowed it to become a distraction. But informally changing the rules at the last minute and using the umps to do it ain't kosher.
