Testing new boundaries for economics ignorance!
Well done, comrade.
Congrats they went 17.3 to 17.1% inflation and their central bank is still predicting a massive economic contraction this year. But please continue.US inflation at 40 year highs (and that is with the US fudging the numbers, so conservative estimate, likely worse than that). Europe is even worse.
Meanwhile in Russia they have cut rates back to pre-invasion levels and inflation numbers are falling (well before expected).
But but but… McDonalds and Adidas are leavingUS inflation at 40 year highs (and that is with the US fudging the numbers, so conservative estimate, likely worse than that). Europe is even worse.

Cool. You can't believe those damn US inflation numbers. Hell, gas by itself is up 150% since Biden has been in office.
The currency exchange market speaks for itself.Cool.
So, are Russia’s numbers accurate or do they lie too?
If they are accurate, is inflation of 17% (double February level) a sign of winning an economic war?
If their numbers are lies as well, why would Volgr brag about a lie?
Cool.

If you think about it, when have sanctions really worked? Cuba? Same people still in power 60+ years later. Iran? Still ran by the same guys 40+ years later. North Korea? Same guys. Syria? Russia? The stated goal of our economic war was to destroy Russia's economy so much so that the Russian people would replace Putin. All signs point to Russia's economy stabilizing and nowhere near being destroyed.
edit to add, Putin is more popular than ever. Meanwhile western leaders are the ones likely facing regime change
