It's pretty pathetic what social media has done to people. We've got grown men subtweeting and trashing kids on a phone app for making a college choice they don't like. Just ridiculously petty and immature and speaks volumes about Hartline's character. I'm glad our coaches don't wade in those trashy waters. You lost. It happens every cycle. Just move on.
Not trying to excuse Hartline, but i think it's just Ohio State. They have such an...entitled culture. They look down on everyone.
We've seen this from Zach Smith, Urban Meyer, Tom Herman etc...

Dude it’s hard to argue with OSU success with WRs. When is the last time we put a true WR in the first 3 rounds? It’s not dumb to think OSU should be ahead of us for those reasons. Right now it would be strange if any top WR wasn’t considering OSU. They have possible the potential Heisman winner in Stroud. They also have studs at every skill position. They also have a very potent offense.
Josh Malone, Josh Palmer, and Velus Jones were all 3rd rounders. True, Ohio St, Alabama, Oklahoma, LSU, and USC lead the way at that position. We aren’t at that level, but it’s not like Ohio St is the only school producing NFL WRs.

With those three behind us, let’s turn our attention to Carnell Tate. The five-star wideout has gone quiet the last few weeks. He is still talking to coaches but team and national media are finding it hard to get him on the phone. Tate is in Las Vegas with his south Florida 7v7 team and so is Nico Iamaleava with team TOA. Those two will no doubt see each other out there. A decision is coming and as of June 10th, we have heard nothing to suggest that the Vols momentum has changed.
