Because it does justify my argument. There were plenty of people saying Meyer's system wouldn't work here. I didn't say everyone said it or that everyone dismissed him, because they didn't.

John Wick the renown hound trainer not Keanu Reeves has several books on coon hounds. He claims tree aggression in coon hounds is genetic. I have witnessed this also. I’m sure other types of aggression can be the same in other breeds. I know environmental factors weigh heavily in dogs personalities. I would bet 80%+ dog attack’s could be traced back to owner neglect or abuse.

I had a red heeler/ jack russell mix that would herd me where he wanted me to go. We would be running around the back yard and the next thing I knew, I was in the house safe and sound. I had no intentions of going inside for hours yet, but there I was in the living room.

We had a neighbor that shot our dogs with a bb gun and then bought one of those devices that emits a high pitch sound when they bark. The problem was that we lived in a frickin neighborhood and he turned the sensitivity up to 11 and my dogs couldn't even be in the house without losing their minds. The fact that I was deployed and in Iraq at the time only made my blood boil more because my wife was having to deal with this awful human being without me.

Some folks are just evil.
I did smack an old man years ago for shooting my brothers blue tick, named smokey of course, for running across his pasture field. Was a lot younger and had a lot less to lose back then. Couldn’t prove he did it, but he had a reputation for shooting dogs.
