I've always heard the chow chow was the dog that would turn on you. In defense of the pit. They attack more people , because they are popular with owners that aren't as responsible. On the flip side, I don't want to have a pet around my kids that could maul them Givin the slim chance they could be mad at that moment.

If I didn't have kids, I'd have a pit , German Shepard, Doberman etc. I just don't wanna roll the dice and gamble on my kids.
Rhodesian ridgebacks
And australian cattle dogs that are over 5 years old, about 1 out of 10 of them will get bite happy seems like

Small dogs may be more aggressive but that’s not the point. Pit bulls have a bad reputation because they kill more people than any other breed and it’s not even close. They snap and often harm those closest to them. They are the loose cannon of the dog world.

I have a friend with a ridgeback and he loves that thing. He has twin little boys that ride on its back and everything

Since we’re talking about pitties, here’s my mix. I call him my pocket pit because he’s only about 40 pounds. His name is Milton and he likes to grab my pants leg and pull on it when he’s frustrated because I’m not giving him attention or I’m teasing him for his pig head.

I bet he has a cannon for an arm

Can we all agree that any breed of dog > any cat

First time I've ever seen a cross between a jack rabbit & pitbull!

And tiny humans without fully developed pre-frontal cortexes sometimes do dumb things that can have catastrophic consequences. I love all dogs and I believe everyone who says their’s is the sweetest. But, I’m not owning one with kids.

Hard for me to believe the Great White Pyerenese(sp) isn't on this list. The ones I've seen and been around are viscious dogs. Have a good friend who walked around her neighborhood most evenings and was attacked by one for no reason. Knocked her to the ground and proceeded to go for her neck as she fought like hell to get him off. Luckily, a motorist passing stopped and was able to pull the dog off her. I could post some grotesque pics of what it did to her but won't. She spent hours in the er, recieved over 125 stitches followed by plastic surgery.

This, I love all dogs. But I love my kids more. So I'm not willing to have a pet that could harm my kids. Crazy ish happens, and any breed of big dog is one I'm just not gonna gamble on

Wow! I always thought they were quiet, kinda lazy dogs that weren’t aggressive at all. That’s nuts

No way Labs should be on this list.
Huskies should not be on that list. Me and my last husky was attacked by a pittbull and she just laid there and I took 95% of the attack and when I was able to get control of that pitt I tried to kill it but his collar broke as I was twisting it and slamming him onto the road.
