Because everyone hates us and is doing everything possible to get us beat and put out of the tourney.

Rish and a couple other posters pointed that out when the brackets were announced.

Our guys said, bring 'em on. Mark of a champion.

It's about time our school and fans figured out we don't need to go along with anybody else to be elite in any sport we choose to dominate. Stop trying to copy what others do well. Be ourselves. Innovate and grind. Hire the right program leaders. Check.

Voltello and this group of brothers are clearly showing the way. They have the support of Danny, Donde and Randy.

We are going to be similar in football. The good ole boy network will stack the decks as best as they can. We need to literally run them into the ground. If a team Kiffins us - we should do likewise on D and just make a mockery of the game to embarrass the SEC and NCAA. Danny knows how to handle it behind closed doors. Use the excellent production and analytics to document and demonstrate. Throw it in the good ole boys faces. Let fans and supporters push video examples and stats in social media to reinforce. They will have no choice but to back off.

There are ways...

Embrace being villains who are clean living champions in every sport. Respect is earned.

Thing is you're almost ALWAYS going to be made into the Villains when you're a dominate team.

I remember the MJ Bulls, and I hated them at the time. Was always pulling for the -other- team to knock them off. Same thing for the Patriots and the Yankees and everyone who isn't on Bama's jock was also hating on them.

I'd rather be dominant in baseball and every post game media and other fans are just trying to trash us than be well liked and losing. And you best believe the first time Heupel hangs 60 on a cupcake when we're undefeated we'll see the same sort of "villains" label applied.

I'm here for it!

I remember when Baker Mayfield did far more gesturing to Kansas (yes Kansas) during a game. That got spun into him being a "fiery and competitive teammate" I think ESPN and sports media just realizes after the Schiano fiasco that we (the UT fans) don't give a s*** about anything they got to say and we'd gladly never watch their broadcast if our Vols weren't on there.

I think that Joyce is still inconsistent somewhat with command. He still could be a great guy in certain spots, for sure.

Tennessee is better in late games..personally I don’t mind it..mid day games regarding tennessee has always ended badly
