Please don't tell us Kiffin smiled at 'the recruit' in a public forum while knowing cameras were present between the 24th and 48th hour of said recruit's visit.... and that the NCAA doesn't permit such behavior.

Note: I would call the recruit Byrce Brown since that's his name but I understand the pressure that would put him under and how the NCAA is really doing what it can to protect these kids from such harsh name-calling.:)

Good question... what a tragedy that would be. :)

The NCAA has nothing better to do with its time than to worry about a recruit who is trying to figure out what it would be like to play for one the colleges he is allowed to visit? Loosen up NCAA... there are bigger problems in the world of college football that deserve your attention.

For example, just how much does Saban pay and does he use a bonus structure or just straight salary? :p

Hopefully we made him feel at home...I think alot of times when players are torn like Bryce they decide on the place that they feel most comfortable at. By the looks of the picture he seemed to be happy and having fun.

I know the guy who helped Julio Jones negotiate his deal. He's at 130k, and can add up to 20% in bonuses, depending on his performance. Though, with the tightening economy, Saban had to temporarily suspend the roster's 401k match, which did not go over well in the last team meeting.

Chris Walker hosted him on Thursday night and the word is that they only got to spend a few hours together, because of team meetings that day.

No conclusive word on how well he meshed with the team, but Chris answered a lot of questions Bryce had about the university.

i was on campus coaching at the state championship swim meet.... i didnt see bryce but there was buzz about the visit... i heard some1 say the rock got painted for bryce and that when he was seen he looked to be enjoying himself

Here's the deal. We are DEEP into this. Eddie Gran in particular. We have just as good a shot as anyone else (hell maybe even better now after the visit), there will be a time where he has to sit down and think of what is the best possible situation for him. I don't find him to be the type of guy who wants to sit on the bench until its his turn, which is why I think Tennessee has the advantage. Who knows, we'll find out soon enough.
