War in Ukraine

Pardon me for stating this, and I hope I'm beyond dead wrong. However, in view of Poot-Poot destroying the rail lines, the Ukies might bot get the new weapons shipment. At least not in time to do anything much with them. The West should have sent these long range weapons long ago when requested. Given that the West is too cowardly to speed things up by sending them via fighter escorted and anti-missile protected cargo plane, sadly, the gig might well finally be up for the staunch Ukies.

Most of the 777s are already in Ukraine. Training probably not complete for all outfits... takes a crew of like 14 men.

The HIMARS systems Biden just approved will likely take a couple months to be brought to bear. Range of 40 miles will be good.

Rail lines have been hit since day 1 of the war. There is plenty of information showing they get repaired in hours due to their critical nature in supporting the war effort.

Well, hello there, Northie. On a more serious note, I hope you're right. I hate war, but I want it cost Poot-Poot so high a price, he's outed from office. And hopefully, a more sensible leadership emerges. I've always felt if the USA and Russia were friends rather than enemies, our scientific and technological advances would leap so far ahead, we'd be colonizing the moon and beyond, creating medical miracles so to speak, freeing up money to push the world toward not great, but a magnificent future. If we don't blow ourselves up, maybe this war will be the catalyst for such a future.

I'll speculate on the answer. Russia started with a huge equipment advantage. The advantage is narrowing. Russia is bring out old tanks because they can't build more modern ones fast enough, if at all. The West is continuing to supply Ukraine. Longer range missiles are a recent example. Can Ukraine hold out long enough for the balance of equipment to shift? Can Russia wear Ukraine down before that happens? As Russia takes territory, are they sacrificing so much capability that they are weakened in comparison to Ukraine?
In a war of attrition, it's not about the equipment being lost. It is about the lives being lost. So you think it is wise to put those lives at risk for the hope of exhausting Russian military assets?

Call their bluff. Force the Russian military command to remove Poot-Poot to prevent a surrounded Russian facing attack from various sources and directions if they the Ukies strike Russia and Russia retaliates against western cities. Call the bluff.
Call the bluff? With a nuclear power? You are nuts.

I will agree that it is a shame that we don't have closer relations with Russia. But the animosity is overwhelmingly being shown by us here in America. Russia has done nothing to us yet we constantly scapegoat them for everything bad that goes on over here.

Putin is a moderate, btw. In your quest to push him out of the way, you may end up with a less patient and restrained leader in his place. Navalny wouldn't even sniff that position.

Anyone who has watched Poot-Poot's macho strut, smirking, listen to his threats, and now his unprovoked invasion of Ukraine under the lie of de-Nazification knows Poot-Poot is anything but a moderate. He wants to recover the post-WWII countries Russia swallowed and exploited. The USA should have listened to Patton near to and at WWII's end. If it had, we wouldn't have had or be having the problem with them we do now.

Oh, so I see you are one of the sheep that didn't listen, also. De-nazification was one of the objectives. The main objectives were to protect the Donbas citizens from the constant 8 years of attacks and recognize their independence from Ukraine.

I’ll translate. Your home boy Pootin and his Keystone Cops military are so damn incompetent that they couldn’t steam roll an obviously overmatched opponent and now simply can only keep pounding their face against the defenders fist. You’re welcome Moe 🤡

Yet they took Mariupol in a month with equal numbers in an urban environment vs Azov (one of Ukraines better fighting groups). Have another ridiculous theory you want to float? Want to go back to dreaming about Ukraine incursions into Russia amd cutting their supply line?

Still saying that dumbassery. It took them three months to take Mariupol Larry and then it was due to a lack of supplies not due to the fighting prowess of Pootin’s Keystone Cops. And since I know you’re mentally challenged and can’t keep things straight the supply line point was related to IF they could knock out the Kersh Straight Bridge. I realize it’s difficult for your smooth brain to be able to contrast what is really happening and being said Vs the bull 💩 you’re being fed by your troll handlers Larry. 🤡

Russia is essentially treating this like a glorified scrimmage and still mopping the floor with NATO in Ukraine.

One can be against Putin's military action in Ukraine, but to call it unprovoked shows you arent serious about discussing the topic honestly.
