So... is there a family emergency or is Evan sick? How sick? How serious? What a strange back-to-back report from two different sources. Obviously TV's should hold more weight.

But let me add, regardless of what the issue is - Evan Russell doesn't have to swing another bat. He has nothing to prove. He's a VFL, by all accounts a great teammate, a record holder, and a heck of a player. Hope he gets drafted. So if its a family issue and he has to step away to be at home, I hope everyone supports that.

This is what kills me about media hacks. They think they have the right to know everything. Having a microphone or a website doesn't make you an expert on jack crap. As fans, we don't need to know everything either. The reality is, the only people the Baseball team has to explain itself to is the Baseball team. If Coach Vitello says he's sick, then he's sick. If it turns out to be something else later, then support Evan. Prayers for him.

Crap. Just got some inside info on Russell. It appears he is sick with the herpes. Got it from wearing the Gators helmet earlier in the year and is in mid flare up right now.

I stopped listening after we started seeing Rucker's tweets in here, but Basilio did NOT say PED - he did use it as an example but it was clear in the context of his sentence that he was just using it as an example - nonetheless, it does add fuel to the fire. I am not a regular listening so I def am not taking up for him, just saying this for clarification.
