War in Ukraine

Thieves, crooks, murderers. Stealing from the world to keep up it's insane destruction.

At the end of WW2, Russians didn't just bother to steal the finished goods ... they boxed up the plants and took them as well. Maybe their manners are improving ... or maybe they just haven't had time to remove the fixtures.

Russians have a rather unique decorating style. Something generally ranging from aggravated urban decay to bombastic deconstruction. Apparently they have a penchant for natural lighting and a more open, airy décor.

Russia - we can export our poverty, raping, dictatorial governing, and overall misery to your country too!

Well there is a severe lack of historical and cultural knowledge here in this forum. I'd say at least 90 percent are unaware. And that's being generous.

Their responses:

"The people of Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Transnistria, South Ossetia, and Abkhazia need to go back to where they belong."

"Lukashenko needs some Listerine".

Russians have always been fond of capturing or "colonizing" places they believe they deserve more than the original inhabitants - even if they have to remove the original inhabitants - sometimes to other places above ground and sometimes just to places below ground. Compared to Russia, Crimea is a tropical paradise, so naturally Russia wanted it for the resort appeal. Since Russia is big but has limited sea access (unless global warming really kicks in), Russia also likes stuff on the Black Sea which Ukraine happens to own - there was a treaty, you know ... something about trading a nuclear arsenal for internationally recognized sovereign boundaries. Of course, giving a bully all the stuff that goes bang for peaceful resolution of borders is probably poor strategy.

hearing Ukraine fighters retreated to Lysychansk to take the high ground, and Russia pounded it with what cnn is calling "maximum intensity." This my have been some of the worst fighting yet, and there is nothing left, so it isn't the town or people russia wants. Russia wants the raw material from this area.

Fine Russian culture. Russia was into some of the finer points - like genocide, racial/ethnic cleansing, resettlement, reeducation well before the Nazis showed up. In fact, you have to wonder if the Nazis took some pointers on all that from the Russian model.

Russians really know how to make nothing from something.

A) Russia isnt doing that.
B) Yes, we are the bad guys who not only turned a blind eye to atrocities in Donbas for years, but continued funding and supporting the Ukrainian regime in charge of it. When you look at our foreign policy for the last few decades, Vietnam forward, we are the World's bully. We are the bad guys.
You mean like Russia maintained the rebels? If it hadnt been for them this would have been over a long time ago. Russia arming the rebels kept this going. You know the little guys who had no chance, should have just bent over and taken it, and it would be over long before now.

They should have gone home? They were home. Crimea has been Russian longer than Florida has been American. Also, the only reason Crimea was Ukrainian in the first place was because Khrushchev ceded it to them in the 1950s when it was still the same country. Even after the dissolution of the USSR, the Russians still paid leasing fees to the Ukrainians out of courtesy.
Wait, here you go again claiming Russia is the soviet union. Which is it Ras? You jump around between saying you cant call the Russians Soviets, but then you use the soviet time period for continuity when it suits you.

Boris Yeltsin's son-in-law QUITS as advisor to Putin amid growing speculation the Russian President is losing his grip on power with army 'on verge of collapse' after Ukraine disaster

Boris Yeltsin's son-in-law has quit his role as a Kremlin adviser amid speculation Vladimir Putin is losing his grip on power due to his health.

Valentin Yumashev, who is married to the former president's daughter Tatyana, has served as an unpaid aide who was one of the last links inside the administration to Yeltsin's rule.

Under Yeltsin, who was Russian president from 1991 to 1999, Yumashev served as a Kremlin adviser and later as Kremlin chief of staff.

Did the Russian sympathizers know that looting their resources is part of Russian liberation, along with concentration camps, kidnapping, rape, and the total destruction of their city? Silly commies!

Ukrainian Refugee living in Britain is stunned after seeing picture of Russian tank carrying her new boiler, tablecloth and BED SHEETS after her home was Looted

A Ukrainian refugee in Britain has spotted her looted new boiler perched on top of a Russian tank.

Alina Koreniuk, who was a police officer back home, said her husband showed her the photo posted online and asked: ‘Do you notice anything strange about this?’

Other items on the vehicle included their tablecloth, new Disney bedsheets and a red blanket.

The picture was taken close to their home in Popasna, Luhansk, a few days ago.

‘Our reaction was that whatever they hadn’t destroyed they would steal,’ she told the BBC. ‘

well, we seemed to have done a 180 in 24 hours, and are now sending Ukraine medium range rockets with guarantees they will not be used inside russian borders (fingers crossed behind back).

Also, if you are wondering what kind of world putin is building, this woman has been watching russian state tv and reporting on it. Pretty scary stuff, as you can imagine, russia media is terror at it's finest.

Trailer park trash driving a main battle tank 😂

If we would not have done what specifically?
1. The Marshall Plan 2. Sending troops to defend S. Korea 3. Stationing troops in Germany. 4. The billions and billions of dollars sent over the years to countries in desperate need of aid. 5. Sending troops to S. Vietnam (careful how you respond here) 6. Caring the majority of the burden of the United Nations.7. I could go on and on but you get the idea, 8. I really resent people belittling the sacrifice that Americans have made over the years for other people. 9. Oh by the way we tried that deal of isolation in the 1930"s, how did that play out for the rest of the world.

None of what you posted was our concern. Europe destroying itself is a common thing... just like they are doing right now. So what did we really gain out of that?

Also, get your panties out of a bunch. American troops making the sacrifice isn't who is being criticized and you damn well know that. It is the pizz poor leadership that placed those men in a position where they had to put their lives in jeopardy.

Oh, I'm really dying to know your justification for South Vietnam.
