They’re 5-4 in each of those guys starts. Not incredible. You have to swing the bats to back your 5th guy. Do we need to do something besides tucker? Yes. Is giving up 4 runs in your 5th spot a problem? No.

I'm not going to argue that the bats don't need to be better because they do. But how many of those starts are at only 4 runs. Huscar got smoked in his couple starts. Muller was terrible against Texas. Elder was lucky to get through 4 without giving up a lot of runs, Tucker just gave up 6 in his last start. We need to start getting some quality starts mixed in to that 5th spot.
