War in Ukraine

I'm talking to several russians on a daily basis and theyre telling me their country is a mess and a ton of people want out. I don't know why some of you don't realize the internet damages your narrative, it's beyond me, keep preaching though

Still haven't settled on that mail order bride?????

Of course I'm pretty much the only one on here who has pointed that out and condemned. But since I don't follow a certain narrative 100% of the time I'm accused of being a "Pootin stooge" or whatever other name or insult they come up with. It's usually the tactic they use because they are incapable of having a decent conversation.
I didnt actually see you condemn it in that post above. You mentioned it, but didnt go on your usual rant about "real fascists in action" that you usually do when something is banned.

So can I call Singapore and Georgia fascist for banning Jehovah Witnesses as well? I'll post an article later but that group has faced persecution ever since they were formed in the 1920s or 1930s.

So, about that $300 billion seized of Russia's foreign reserves. Looks like the EU just admitted that they only got about $24 billion, which is far less than what was previously assumed/reported. That then calls into question what might have actually been stolen by the US, UK and other countries. Something isn't adding up...

Brussels Says About $24 Billion of Russian Central Bank Assets Frozen in EU, Less Than Expected

He said that about 23 billion euros had been frozen in the EU since the start of the war in Ukraine in February, a figure that is dwarfed by the $100 billion frozen by the United States.

In addition to that, EU countries have also frozen about 10 billion euros of physical assets, such as yachts and villas, linked to oligarchs and officials with ties to the Kremlin, Reynders said.

Uhh. My comments having nothing to do with a person and everything to do with the concept.

Probably just best at this point to admit you thought we were talking about Elensky, instead of trying to do some ridiculous backpedal, but whatever. Also, it would probably be better to just admit Oleksiy Arestovych is human, under a lot of stress and slipped up when he told some Western leaders publicly, to go eff themselves. It isn't the first dumb thing he has said and it won't be the last.

Could be Russia was playing a bit of gamesmanship with the $300B figure they were putting out.

Or you know, that you're a coward that doesn't understand simple concepts.

People are starting to look for the exits. They can't maintain the narrative any longer and are coming to terms with the reality on the ground. For the Washington Post to print this, you know things must be getting serious.

Again, you guys in here had better be finding your own off ramps in here, because it is likely this thing could be reaching a conclusion pretty soon. And it won't end up being Russia getting their azzes handed to them.

The WaPo further includes the following devastating testimony and assessment:

“Many got shell shock. I don’t know how to count them,” Lapko said.
The casualties here are largely kept secret to protect morale among troops and the general public.
“On Ukrainian TV we see that there are no losses,” Lapko said. “There’s no truth.”

Lapko basically admits what I told Monty a week ago. Ukraine has no idea how many men they have lost as they are no longer claiming their dead and losses can't distinguish between desertion, POW, dead. My 4:1 ratio (UKR:RUS) may be too conservative and the longer this drags out it likely will be too conservative (especially if the estimated 10-16k Ukraine forces stay and fight in the current cauldron).

We all know that excites you. I mean saddens you deeply that NATO caused this to happen.
