You had better look at what you just typed and think about what we did with certain citizens in WWII...So when has a three letter Federal agency showed up at 3AM and moved you to a reeducation camp ... assuming they were feeling generous. Seems like most people who wind up in a US prison had a court date with witnesses to the proceedings before being convicted and locked away.
That was a one off incident and yet you extrapolate that throughout the entire history of Russia. Even you don't believe the BS you are shoveling. There are a few thousand women who would disagree with you. Russian troops tend to see themselves as victors and local women as the spoils. My dad brought home some captured Nazi weapons, but I'm pretty sure he never liberated any appliances.

You don't even say that about the Japanese when it comes to Nanking.
You just said it... The Soviets. The Russian federation is nowhere near the same as the Soviet Union. I know that is tabu and is probably shocking to some of you, but you guys need to come to terms with the fact that yo are allowing your previous biases and disdain for the Soviets cloud your judgements about what we have in Russia today.Think about what you just said. The internment of Japanese/Americans was a one off deal that lasted for the duration of WW2. It was an absurd overreaction, and I agree with you that it was wrong. However, it wasn't the same as what the Soviets did to their own citizens over several decades - don't forget all the other non-Russians in the USSR either. Our internment camps certainly didn't match the "cleaning up" that Stalin did, and it certainly wasn't the same as the pogroms that Russians conducted against Jews over the centuries. Russia's history of atrocities never even required wars as an excuse. It's just their thug culture. BTW the thing I mentioned about a "few thousand" women who disagree might be more like a million.
I am curious as to why Russia would ban Jehovah Witnesses and label them an extremist group. That's odd.You just said it... The Soviets. They were (mostly) Russians, but they were driven by the most extreme form of Marxism and that ideology drove them to engage in a lot of evil.Good. Who do you think ran the Soviet Union? Hint: Moscow was the epicenter. Who stirred up communist revolutions (or wars of liberation if you prefer) all over the globe?

We are not dealing with anything near with Putin and the Russian Federation. Again, I know that is shocking to you, but those are simply the facts.
I wasn't saying it was the same as what the Soviets did because that would be rather ridiculous of me to say. I only hinted at the Japanese internment in response to the comment/post you made. I wasn't making any kind of equivocation.Think about what you just said. The internment of Japanese/Americans was a one off deal that lasted for the duration of WW2. Russia's ruble is the strongest currency in the world this year
I do know Jehovah Witnesses claim to be against forms of nationalism and will refuse to serve in the military. This doesn't mean they are for globalism either. Some I've talked to also understand the evil of globalism and globalist organizations. I would also say this ban is encouraged by the Russian Orthodox Church. Now that is a headscratcher. I've wondered that myself.
Dudes been begging for Western weapons and money while making ridiculous Baghdad Bob'esque statements about Ukraine winning...his pride was gone long ago. So, no it aint pride, it's stupidity.
Yes, it is a fiat system just like the rest of the world has. So between then printing money and lowering rates, it will devalue their currency.
I guess they don't teach you about Stalin in Russia. Holodomor, the 1 million citizens murdered, the millions forced into work camps. Yep. Just like the US..Outside of the Red Army's behavior in Germany, which is an outlier, the Russians haven't done anything more hideous than any other country, including the US or any other Western nation. Let's stop with the hyperbole.
This is rich coming from you. Glad I was able to add Baghdad Bob to your troll repertoire. I hope to see more of you people using it in the future!Dudes been begging for Western weapons and money while making ridiculous Baghdad Bob'esque statements about Ukraine winning...his pride was gone long ago.
