That was a one off incident and yet you extrapolate that throughout the entire history of Russia. Even you don't believe the BS you are shoveling.

Think about what you just said. The internment of Japanese/Americans was a one off deal that lasted for the duration of WW2. It was an absurd overreaction, and I agree with you that it was wrong. However, it wasn't the same as what the Soviets did to their own citizens over several decades - don't forget all the other non-Russians in the USSR either. Our internment camps certainly didn't match the "cleaning up" that Stalin did, and it certainly wasn't the same as the pogroms that Russians conducted against Jews over the centuries. Russia's history of atrocities never even required wars as an excuse. It's just their thug culture. BTW the thing I mentioned about a "few thousand" women who disagree might be more like a million.

You just said it... The Soviets. The Russian federation is nowhere near the same as the Soviet Union. I know that is tabu and is probably shocking to some of you, but you guys need to come to terms with the fact that yo are allowing your previous biases and disdain for the Soviets cloud your judgements about what we have in Russia today.

They were (mostly) Russians, but they were driven by the most extreme form of Marxism and that ideology drove them to engage in a lot of evil.

We are not dealing with anything near with Putin and the Russian Federation. Again, I know that is shocking to you, but those are simply the facts.

I wasn't saying it was the same as what the Soviets did because that would be rather ridiculous of me to say. I only hinted at the Japanese internment in response to the comment/post you made. I wasn't making any kind of equivocation.

I do know Jehovah Witnesses claim to be against forms of nationalism and will refuse to serve in the military. This doesn't mean they are for globalism either. Some I've talked to also understand the evil of globalism and globalist organizations. I would also say this ban is encouraged by the Russian Orthodox Church.

I guess when one is a patriot, it's less important to be prideful if it means saving your country. I dont think anyone is remotely surprised you or @Rasputin_Vol don't grasp that these Ukrainians love there country and will do anything to defend it from the orcs.
