I'll agree with you on that point, but there's a huge difference between an illegal immigrant infestation because of porous borders and an armed military invasion. Apples and cannon balls.

You mean give up territory as a ransom demand so maybe the Russians will honor the new boundaries - until they don't the next time. Ever hear why it's bad to negotiate with and pay off terrorists?

Everyone knew this artificial propping up would happen with consolidation, and it's going to get worse for russia when this artificial consolidation begins to crumble from underneath them. The bottom will fall out.

This comes with a caveat tho. You have to show you are willing to continue putting the pressure on, and the party of putin is beginning to grumble. This war is too boring for the media. They need more content, and now they feel safe stirring up a good ole American riot. They want yo tap into that putin undertone in America.

The media are going to turn on the American people in this war before it's over in an effort to stir up controversy. It's coming.

Russia couldn't take Kyiv. Thats a fact. They retreated. That's a fact. They committed war crimes while retreating as well. That is a fact.

Then it took 3 months to take 1 town that they literally wiped off the face of the earth with arty and bombing..And still took the Ukrainians running out of supplies for the Russians to claim victory.

You're like the guy who beats his chest because he is dating the hot cheerleaders sister..who just happens to weigh 250 pounds..

Everything you are talking about can be said about the US/The West. The Russians can't negotiated in good faith with regards to Minsk II and those ceasefire terms were never met by the Kiev regime.

Struggling in Ukraine, Russia paves way to sign up over-40s for army

LONDON (Reuters) -In a sign of Russia's urgent need to bolster its war effort in Ukraine, parliament said on Friday it would consider a bill to allow Russians over 40 and foreigners over 30 to sign up for the military.

The website of the State Duma, parliament's lower house, said the move would enable the military to utilise the skills of older professionals.
