War in Ukraine

What does it matter if they call it a war, which they haven't declared, or a special military operation? Ukraine has made little to no gains in this war and the few gains they have made have been mostly meaningless in a tactical sense but play well on social media. They continue to lose key tactical areas in Donbas along with land they will never get back from Russia...but hey, they are pushing a small Russian force back out of Kharkiv, will Ukraine invade Russia????
"Kharkov"

I think at some point, you guys are going to need to come up with an exit strategy with regards to your support of the Kiev Regime and us being involved in this with supplying arms and these sanctions.

Of the $40 billion in aid going to Ukraine, only $1.8 billion is for military equipment. You already know where the rest is going.

Wrong.

The new measure includes $6 billion to arm and train Ukrainian forces, $8.7 billion to restore American stores of weapons shipped to Ukraine and $3.9 billion for U.S. forces deployed to the area.

There’s also $8.8 billion in economic support for Ukraine, $4 billion to help Ukraine and allies finance arms and equipment purchases and $900 million for housing, education and other help for Ukrainian refugees in the U.S.

If Russia wanted to invade and take Kiev, they would have it.

Guess you missed the whole massive (failed) Kyiv invasion thing that Russia started in February. You might wanna brush up on your Russia/Ukraine War 101 before posting moronic sh*t here, eh.

And at least a couple billion to go into the pockets of the politicians in DC.

I’ll help you out since you seem ill informed and misguided. Line 2!

Does anyone believe these issues will not be worked out?

5 hr 23 min agoTurkish official holds calls with Swedish and Finnish counterparts on NATO membership applications
From Isil Sariyuce in Istanbul
Ibrahim Kalin, the spokesperson for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, held phone calls with his counterparts from Sweden and Finland as well as Germany, the US and the UK to discuss NATO membership applications of Sweden and Finland, among other topics.
“In the context of Sweden and Finland's membership applications to NATO, the expectation that concrete steps will be taken to address Turkey's national security concerns was communicated. It was underlined that if Turkey's expectations were not met, the progress of the process would not be possible,” according to a readout of the meeting.
“During the meetings, it was also emphasized that it is unacceptable to allow the terrorist organization PKK/PYD/YPG and FETO members to exist in NATO members and other countries. It was stated that there should be no discrimination between terrorist organizations and that all forms of terrorism should be fought in a spirit of unity and solidarity,” the readout added.
Erdogan has accused the two countries of harboring members of the separatist militant Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, and supporters of US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen, whom Turkey accuses of masterminding a 2016 coup attempt, which Gulen denies. The PKK has been designated a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union. Erdogan also said Sweden did not extradite 30 people whom Turkey sees linked to terrorism.
According to the readout, the reversal of defense export bans and of sanctions against Turkey were also addressed.
Earlier on Wednesday, Erdogan told his party's members of parliament in Ankara that he expects NATO member countries to “understand” Turkey’s security issues.

Hey the sanctions haven’t yielded the desired result in 60 days clearly they are a waste of time 🤡

Yeah they have crumbled Russias economy right? Wrong. But they sure are doing a number on ours and other countries economies. It’s funny how you support these ridiculous sanctions. Funny how you are in support of the USA and a few other countries being able to police the world and impose their will on any countries economies when they feel like it.

Russians own central bank says it will be disastrous for them

Bank of Russia Cuts Rates More Than Forecast, Warns on Downturn

And we can pay for it simply by seizing Russian government assets we have already frozen.

If you voted for trump you aren't allowed to complain about wasteful spending. Ever. Well unless you want to be a massive hypocrite.

I don't like the spending of the money. There is a an easy way to pay for it. And I think our support should be limited to selling them weaponry and providing intelligence

I voted for Trump. I hated his spending habits. Get off your high horse. You voted for this so you can’t complain. That’s BS. There were many things I was unhappy with Trump. And spending was a big one. Every president spends like wildfire. Biden is just doing it a little worse by giving a corrupt country that harbors sex trafficking and big pharma our tax dollars.

I don’t want to hear about helping Ukraine. They don’t deserve our help. No country does. Especially when we have massive troubles on our own country. Massive inflation, commodity shortages, fuel prices skyrocketing. And we get to see this idiot send tens of billions of dollars because “oh poor Ukraine.” BS.

Trump promised to spend more then anyone. Never forget. And not a high horse. Just the facts. You don't like them isn't my problem

They keep saying it but it’s not happening. But it’s hurting us and many other countries. We should have kept our nose out of this situation.
It's been two months. Jesus. Is your argument that the Russian central bank, who all reports directly to Vlad, is being overly negative at home? How the heck does that even make sense to you? If they are openly projecting x percent down I would double it.
