War in Ukraine

"IF" and "could". You think Russia is asleep at the wheel and will allow a supply line into the Donbas to be cut? We'll see how Ukraine uses Kharkiv, but as of right now it has little tactical significance.

i don't speak in absolutes as I do not pretend to know what will happen next. The only thing any of us can do is just watch what happens as this war unfolds.

I can tell it is really hampering the Russians advance in Donbas. <sarc>

But those social media likes....
Oh yeah. The “encirclement” is progressing as nicely as the previous two failed ones did Larry.

And it’s hilarious as hell with all the information available about Russian equipment running out of gas due to stretched supply lines and you just shrug off the loss of a large forward fuel depot. Moronic as hell and right on target!

All I've stated is that Russia has much of Southern Ukraine occupied and could very well end up taking the rest of Southern Ukraine which could cut off Ukraine from the Black Sea. If they do this then Ukraine probably has no choice to start negotiating.

Second. I've provided more than enough proof that Russia's economy is still doing fine and will be fine going forward.

Now what I'm posting is going against the unofficial narrative of this thread so I'm immediately accused of supporting Putin and being a Putin stooge.
Common sense should tell you that nothing here is going well for Russia. You know very well that Russia expected to have Ukraine under their control within a few weeks. The fact that Ukraine is still fighting is a loss for Russia. You cannot bury that fact under a pile of propaganda.

That is what it looked like in Phase I, but it isn't what materialized. There was no massive invasion. Russia doesn't have near the amount of troops one would expect an invading army to use, yet they continue to take territory, towns and cities. They also didn't have near enough troops to take Mariupol, yet once again, they took it. I don't know if the US could fight Phase 2 much better than Russia is at this point.
Damn volgr you have lost your freaking mind. There was a massive invasion and it failed. Russia sent what they thought were enough troops. They are not taking meaningful nor large swaths of territory and you should have started and stopped at "I don't know".

Oh I'm sure it's because they are poor and lack the technology to video and record these actions.
Havent seen too many videos of the Russians taking cities and killing nazis. Guess that means they arent real either. Or is this just another example of your double standards?

So what are their troop counts? And what are the forces facing them troop count?

I have seen some incredibly large percentages of active duty troops being deployed in this campaign. Especially when it comes to the more specialized/better units.

Might want to ask why Russia committed a good chunk of their paratroopers to capturing the Kiev airport if it was all a smoke show. Those are some very specialized men and equipment that there was very little chance of getting back without direct support. They also called in the Chechens pretty early, hardly seems like a limited deployment.

Do you ever stop saying dumb sh*t?

It took the worlds 2nd largest army almost three months to take a town 100 miles from their border after months of preparation.

The Russian army is absolute trash (edit: Airforce and Navy too) . Every aspect of Russia's unprovoked invasion of a sovereign country has been embarrassingly mismanaged. Pootin should hope that what ever ailes him kills him quickly as it's unlikely he'll ever be able to live this debacle down.

Does nothing to Russia, likely gets the US sued by creditors....but the social media impact will be huge...more of the same.

They can just tie to the European grid in Poland until they take the plant back Larry. In fact there were already posts about that here I’m pretty sure.

Considering Europe is telling citizens to ration energy, this sounds like a winning strategy. lol What happens when Russia offers them energy at a much reduced cost vs what they are getting from Europe. Do they swallow their pride?

Making 2 up out of thin air?
Nope. There was a graph shown here a couple of days ago illustrating just in the Donbass how they’ve had to scale back their “encirclement” plans twice already there. And now Odessa is totally out of play.

At the rate they’re going they might manage to encircle a gay Nazi little girl manning a lemonade stand on the Russian border and run up the victory flag Larry.

And yet they’ve already done it Larry. Why should they swallow their pride when they can just take the plant back. Based on the level the invading bastards are stalled out or outright giving up land that’s probably more likely than Pootin holding the nuke plant long enough to see any money from it.

What does it matter if they call it a war, which they haven't declared, or a special military operation? Ukraine has made little to no gains in this war and the few gains they have made have been mostly meaningless in a tactical sense but play well on social media. They continue to lose key tactical areas in Donbas along with land they will never get back from Russia...but hey, they are pushing a small Russian force back out of Kharkiv, will Ukraine invade Russia????
Hate to stoop this low, but you are the Luther of Russian propaganda

I believe Rand Paul suggested appointing someone to verify where the money goes. But of course he's a carnival barker for even suggesting such an idea.
Actually Rand Paul was on target with that comment just like he was on target for wanting to find budgetary offsets for the funds that were redirected to pay into the 9/11 responder fund which was on the verge of going insolvent. It’s Congress’s job to insure oversight of those funds.

But never left a butthurt sound bite by you get in the way of another piss poor comparison Curly. Lol.
