De-nazification, de-militarization and recoginition of Crimea, Donbas (and now it looks like southern Ukraine to Odessa was added after the Cokehead Cowboy Zelensky turned his back on Istanbul agreements). They now control a pretty large chunk of territory and will continue slowly adding to it (or quickly as Ukraine forces seem to be close to their break point, so it could be slow until it isn't).

As I said, Ukraine would have been far better off to negotiate these things before the war as now Russia will take them by force and likely take much more than they would have originally negotiated for.

A member of the notorious Russian activist band Pussy Riot had to flee Moscow in the guise of a food courier after Vladimir Putin started to crack down hard on their brand of dissent.

Maria Alyokhina was facing 21 days in a penal colony once she had finished another stint under house arrest for her latest act of rebellion in criticising Putin's war in Ukraine.

The Pussy Riot leader decided it was better to leave her home country than get lost in the Russian penal colony system and came up with a bold and ingenious disguise.

Alyokhina is a long-time critic of the Russian president who first came to the repressive attentions of Russian authorities when her punk activist band Pussy Riot performed a scandalous protest song in Moscow's Christ the Saviour Cathedral in 2012.

This act of rebellion earned her two years in jail for 'hooliganism' and she has continued her career of professional disobedience ever since, having been jailed six times for 15 days each since just last summer.

Ukraine was in trouble when they befriended the West. There is a chance that Poland will carve up their west, Russia will carve up the east and south. What is left may still be called Ukraine when it is all said and done but it will be a sad small rump State.

These guys have said Poland or the UK could handle Russia themselves. Which is why I am very confused about the 40 billion

UK couldn't handle Ukraine, lol. Likely Poland couldn't either. The UK hasn't been a legit power in a long time. We've had to rescue them a few times during the last few decades. Both would be easily waxed by Russia if either were left to fight one on one.

I have no doubt that more Americans would support Putin's call for regime change in America than Russians who support Biden's call for regime change in Russia...mid-terms will be a blood bath (if the GOP doesn't eff it up).

Ukraine losing Popasnaya was big, Ukraine desertions and captures continue to increase, etc. Ukraine isn't handing Russia anything but more land and victories each day. Again, a slow grinding for now, but Ukraine seems to be at its' breaking point. Russia is happy to slowly advance and grind down their military.
