The Atlanta Braves

It’s May 11. Will Smith and Kenley Jansen have pitched 4 combined times in May. We have an off day tomorrow. Neither of those guys could pitch the 9th last night? At least we’ll have the freshest bullpen at the trade deadline
It’s ridiculous. I guess because he blew Matzek up he’s being extra cautious? They’re going to have plenty of time to rest in October lol

As most know in here I'm a pediatric nurse, and I've dealt with some hard things.

But the hardest I think was having to be a nurse for my 4 year old niece and doing prep work on her for a procedure. With answered prayers today after a colonscopy and endoscopy on her. They ruled out her having Crohn's disease. Don't think I've cried this many happy tears ever.

Braves are 21st in team OBP at .301 and 3rd highest strike outs in the league.

We’re going to have to make a move for someone to bat 1 or 2 who can get on base. Lefty slapper, Walk machine, or some plain Joe that actually has a .340+ obp, it’s doesn’t matter.

We have to actually have runners on base for Acuna and Olson. The beer league softball style isn’t working this year.

Wow. Man, that had to have been tough. But praise God for that!!

100% agree, but you will be in the minority with that line of thinking in this thread.

They have players like that in the minors. Hopefully, they give them a chance in Atlanta and don't trade them for another Duvall or Ozuna.

We have players (not just one, multiple) in the minor leagues that would help the big league team right now? Name them.

I don’t care about getting some high OBP guys in here, (as who is giving them up anyways), but we need the middle of the order and beyond to not be pathetic. That would be a start. Ronnie and Matt 1-2 are fine

I’m thinking more like Austin Meadows from Detroit.

Natural corner outfielder, .393 obp (which will come down but we need help now), from GA, and is on a 1 year $4mil deal.

Throw Detroit anyone under the age of 25 and get someone who can help now… and can throw the ball 30 feet in left field.

I just don’t see how you put Ozuna in LF just to get Arcia at bats. That’s crazy… If the don’t want to DH Ronald for whatever reason, then it has to be Willy at this point

How do we know? They need a chance, don't they? Could they possibly do worse that .180 hitting Duvall and .200 hitting Ozuna. ?

Swinging for the fences and striking out 2/3 games ain't working especially when you got multiple guys in the line up doing that
