War in Ukraine

Never let us here you complain about deficit spending then. Easy to demise the "compromised" budget that Trump took to grow the military budget with the subsequent domestic social spending.
Those weapons from Trump military spending are feeding Ukraine today.

So Trump's military spending is bad now?

Suddenly everyone is a fiscal conservative.

why do we need to bring Russia to it's knees? they were fading anyway.

how much is it worth to bring Iran to it's knees? seems we are more interested in supporting them.

what other countries should be on the kneel list?

don't even get me started on the "it's only 2% of our annual budget" comment

And who rises to bring them off of their knees, we saw what happened when Germany was made to kneel.

yeah you did

I got food that was subsidized by tax dollars. Without telling you what I pay in taxes each quarter, I can assure you it wasn't cheap.

By the way, much of the subsidiaries were necessary due to unnecessary retaliatory tarrifs.

I'm fine with helping the Ukraine defend themselves within limits. I'm not fine with using it as a proxy war and our chance to stick to the Ruskies and make them kneel.

These are the same guys who have a problem with "Tweets"

So frigile.

is it? what are we in for now - 100 billion if the current requests are granted?

our history of intervention isn't exactly something to brag about.

will be a decade or three before we can assess whether this is money well spent
The fuse gets shorter and shorter as time goes on. You say a decade or two... I say next year...

I'm good with both. Doing the right thing sometimes comes with a price.

Almost none.

Hey, I’ve advocated for removing all subsidies and price controls on agriculture. Get rid of them all and let the market work. But don’t try and act like subsides and price controls don’t artificially keep the price of food low in this country.

Oh they do, it's why it's "cheaper" to eat at McDonald's than it is to get fresh fruits and vegetables.

I'm just saying that "cheap" is a realitive term that comes with an asterisk.

Wait till this is over...Trillions in nation building. And that is if we are lucky and make it out of this shifty mess
The debt doesn't conce6me because we aren't going to be able to pay off the $30 trillion right now.

My concern is that these clowns plunge us into a nuclear exchange with Russia over false pride and financial interests.
