Probably, but hey at least the defense contractors get paid
Where do the weapons individual components and the raw materials for those weapons come from? The thing about defense spending and defense contractors is a mixed blessing when you think about it. We could send Ukraine pots and pans, but those are made in China; we could send them meds, but those are made in China; we could send them clothing, but that's made in a lot of places including China. At least if we send weapons and munitions, we are generally supporting a US industry ... however overpriced. It puts money into our own economy rather than China's. Personally I'd rather see government money go into any segment that produces something tangible than into some sort of welfare in hope of stimulating an economy not built much around industry because we stupidly sent most of our manufacturing away.
Your man crush better hope they chose not to or their Russian asses will be scattered all over Western Russia. It is speculated that to avoid that NATO problem, that Poland would act on their own. They wouldn't need NATO.

You should write for the Kyiv regime or the mainstream media outlets. You've missed your calling in life.I'm going to wake up one morning and the conversation is going to go something like...
Ukraine: "Hey, Hey wake up, you hear that?"
West: "What do you mean, I don't hear anything."
Ukraine: "That's it... The Russians are gone. There's no bombing... what happened?"
West: "Uhhhh.... IDK, let ne take a look."
West: "Hey.... Russia, you OK over there? It's a little quiet, where you at?"
Russia: "What do you mean? We are right here, where we've always been."
West: "Well, what happened to Ukraine? You know, all that raping and pillaging and killing and burning... all that fun stuff."
Russia: "I don't know what you are talking about, we were never in Ukraine, you must be thinking of someone else. You western nato nazis are always blaming someone else."
They are good at science.
They will always nitpick and find something.
I think they are out of hardware that they can put in a parade. No tanks or other hardware driving by? That's usually a big deal in Russian parades. There are always row after row of big missiles on mobile launchers, too. Amazing that the guy just snapped a picture of marching troops like that was the hit of the parade.
He was going to a war cemetery.
I remember a few years ago some of you guys were pizzed when the gravesites near Normandy were desecrated by some woke folk.

And I guarantee that the Soviets didn’t waste their education rubles by sending the best and brightest to learn gender theory or post colonialist poetry.I had a couple working for me years ago; the guy was an engineer and the wife was a mathematician (and college professor). I forgot where exactly, but they were from one of the Soviet states, and they were both top notch. The thing is Russia (and the Soviets) and other countries segregate the best and give them a great education while we blunder along and teach everybody the same drivel because we can't have exceptionalism - one of the big nails in our national coffin.
That would make sense if this was the very first time they had been to that cemetery. Then you could definitely say it was a political stunt. But if this is a regular type of visit, then we all know what this is over, and it ain't got nothing to do with making them subservient. Not seeing the connection AT ALL and actually surprised you made this comment.
It was a dumb political stunt...hey we helped you defeat the Nazis and yet made you subservient. People that are still alive that lived under that brutal regime have memories.
