I agree. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this is the generation that buries the United States.
I wouldn't be so sure. The current generation of young adults I'm lucky enough to work with are accepting, kind, generous, community minded and want to see a sustainable future for our country and all who call it home. They're also hard working and intensely focused.
Every generation buries the country their ancestors knew. My grandfather and his parents wouldn't be able to survive at all in the world as we know it. Their America - with lawful racially segregated schools, stores, and buses - is no more.
