Of course the election happened. I'm not saying that election didn't happen. The results of that election are not even a topic of discussion.

The topic is the US lead overthrow that happened 5 years before that.

Actually it is very relevant because Putin is claiming the CURRENT government of Ukraine elected in 2019 is illegitimate. That is his causes belle for invading Ukraine. It isn't even the 2014 government you are even whining about which makes your whole 2014 argument pointless. I know you are one of those persons that is never WRONG and has a hard time publicly acknowledging fact. It doesn't make you a lesser person but you are clearly wrong in everything you have said in this thread.

Putin waited for 8 years and for 14000 people in Donbas to be killed by the Ukrainians.

I think he was about as patient (if not more patient) than likely any other world leader that would have been placed in that position.

Even historically NEUTRAL Switzerland came out to condemn Russia. Pretty much all of Europe and 70% of the world agrees with your position. Just let him drivel on. He has not made any logical arguments in this thread and he relies entirely on conspiracy theories. You cannot change someone like that.

No I am pointing out that you are unable to admit Ukraine’s government was elected by 73% by its people and has sovereignty and every right to join NATO. And you are whining because you hate the West and are being a mouthpiece for the soviets

There were several attempts to assassinate Castro after Bay of Pigs in the 1960s and 1970s. WTF are you talking about? GTFOH. And WTF do you think the damn purpose of the sanctions and embargo on Cuba was intended to do, genius? It was a stated attempt cause internal instability and create the conditions for overthrow and regime change.

I don't think 73% of Ukrainians elected their leader, same as I don't think 81 million Americans voted for our current Resident in office, same as I don't think (in Peru) a guy that got sub-1% of early-round votes in Peru ended up winning their presidency.

And yet, the USA has not invaded Cuba. Which was your whole point in bringing it up. You will need to try harder.

Was the regime change operation in Syria half a century ago? Attempts to overthrow Assad and presently arm and support Kurds while we occupy NE Syria right now?

What about the regime change operation by the same US State Department gang in 2011 Libya? Is that half a century ago?

We also had/have soldiers in the ground in all of those, which I'd consider an invasion (though small).
