Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

Thanks. I had my liver enzymes checked a couple of years ago they were high and something we should all keep an eye on, just like colonoscopies. Maybe this will open some eyes and be a blessing with your candidness.
Liver enzymes can be elevated due to being overweight. If that is the cause, simply dropping some weight will largely remedy the situation.

In which I did to the point of being in my best form since college 3 years ago. At 57 YO I was quite proud. All it took was disciplined brisk walking at 3.8 miles for an hour and some cal counting for a few months and baddabing.
Sadly I have regressed, but once I get out of this pressure cook in 8-20 months, I am back on it.

Baddabing?

I think Badda bing, bada bing, badda-bing or bada-bing (however you prefer to spell it) are usually either written as two words or hyphenated. I think that is what had hog confused. It had me confused at first. I was trying to figure out what the hell ba-ddabing was.

Late Edit: I knew it sounded vaguely familiar - then I just realized that was dabbing. I wasn’t into that either.

Had a best friend send me a pic of mods to his car with the caption " took me all day , but walla. " minus the quotation marks ofc.

I thought it was incomplete, or maybe he was having a stroke. So i asked what he meant by "walla". He said, "you know, walla!! Like. TA DA!! "

I just laughed. Didnt bother to tell him that "Voila!!" Is a French exclamation, thereby also ghey. Better to let sleeping dogs .....

* not to be confused with "Viola". Which is a Biggie Sized violin.

No. At the dealership. It was the 90k service, so lots of stuff getting done. Plus new tires!

Dealership open on Saturdays? Never knew. I get all my work done at the dealership...well except tires. Gwinnett Honda quoted me some but I decided to save a little money.. I mean how hard is it to replace tires....ugggh.

Interesting. I was told about 15 years ago or so that I wasn't a candidate for lasik at all because I have an astigmatism.
Medical 'science' is never 'settled'. My dad was once told that he was ineligible for cochlear implants. Several years later... he got 'm. The coolest thing about that was that he discovered Jimi Hendrix.
