So the Russians should have just allowed the Ukrainians to continue fighting Russian military and Russian sponsored separatists - before the invasion - in their sovereign Donbas region? So the Russians should have just allowed NATO free reign on their doorstep with the ability to stage nukes on their border?
Yeah because if history has proven anything is that NATO is just chomping at the bits to drop nukes.
Putin was justified in going in to stop the killing in Donbas and stopping NATO/The US from staging a proxy army on its border. And The Russians have been clearly making every effort to minimize civilian casualties as best as they can.
Lastly, the best way for this to end is for Ukraine to seriously go to the negotiating table and not have NATO or the West whispering in their ears.
You can't talk about peace without bring up the role that NATO has played in this.
The best part about all of this is that NATO was kind of falling a part prior to all of this and now more nations are wanting to join it.
Funny how every nation (except puppet-state Belarus) that borders Russia is trying to run as fast as they can to get away from Moscow.
I remember seeing reports about a leaked Polish operational plan a few days ago that described Polish forces entering Ukraine.Ukraine announced that it and Poland signed a very important military/defense agreement. They said Warsaw is a friend and would not stab Ukraine in the back. Wonder if they’re hinting about Polish forces moving in to secure western Ukraine abs freeing up those Ukrainian troops to move eastward?
