I've just been looking for our upcoming quick trip, and wanted to avoid Atlanta. Plenty of flights from Greenville, but have to stop in Atlanta, or Charlotte first. I just wish I could get on, fly straight, and be done, without doing it in Atlanta!

Are you renting a car in FL? If so, you might be able to fly Greenville to Miami nonstop and drive up from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale.

I'll look into that. I just checked ft Lauderdale because it was the first thing that popped up

I just checked, and there are nonstop flights. Idk how much through the actual airline, first thing that popped up was Expedia, and I was just looking at the trip. Price wasn't bad through them for two rountrip tickets, but I'm kinda weary of those discount places.

If J&J offers Supplemental insurance (Aflac) as a benefit, that might cover a portion of your travel expenses.

Had to file plenty of AFLAC claims last year

I hate I lost my temper in a Department Head’s meeting today. I knew it was coming. A new department head decided to question some decisions I made in my departments. That’s not what got it started. When we were questioning some pay scales in my department compared to hers, She said her employees work hard and deserved it and implied mine didn’t. I told her to let me tend to my department and she needed to concentrate on hers and to stay out of mine. It went downhill from there. I finally told the interm boss I needed to leave because I would do better talking to a dam* wall than her. Thank Goodness the owner had already left the room. The interm boss came to see me after the meeting and I apologized to her and would accept my punishment, but I would not take it back, back off nor change what I said. She told me not to worry about it and she agreed with everything I said. Dodged a bullet, but not proud of it at all. 😒
