War in Ukraine

So here is the US relying on imports again. Why can't this country simply develope its own talent and industry here domesically? This country is run by idiots. So we go begging to the Chinese for widgets, the Saudis and Venezuela for our oil and now looking to Russia for our scientists and engineers.
Legal immigration has been a boon over the years because we have gotten a lot of the 'best and brightest' from other countries. And if you look at our economic history, a lot of America was built with foreign capital.
But this plan is is a long term escalation well beyond the scope of the Ukraine conflict, and like a lot of Joe's projects seems poorly conceived.

Yes a few hundred soldiers are in Northern Syria fighting with the Kurds, one of our few allies against ISIS in old ISIS held territory. It isn’t a military occupation or invasion and you know that you just can’t help yourself in defending Russian aggression. The US is fighting actual international terrorists not imaginary ones in Ukraine
Then what is it?

Seriously.... this is the best combat footage I've ever seen on so many levels.

Drones have changed warfare altogether.

That the operator dropped a grenade from a couple hundred feet THROUGH THE OPEN SUNROOF of a moving Russian vehicle is an insane, miraculous shot. And the music choice... hilarious.

Here's a longer version that shows what happens after the grenade his the vehicle:

HEADS UP: Very graphic.

Then what is it?
A foreign military exercise intended to kill terrorists.

The same mission as Russia’s when it comes to Syria.

Again, you need to check on the definition of a military occupation. Assad is still in power, he is not under house arrest, whatever passes for a legislature in Syria is still making decisions. The minuscule US troop presence isn’t doing any of those things. Except, apparently, providing you with a means to act as an apologist for Putin’s actions in Ukraine.

The propaganda and media manipulation tactics being used in this conflict are on Level 11. Edward Bernays and Joseph Goebbels would be proud.

I am guessing he won't wake up from that surgery.

"An all-out war would allow Moscow to draft in more conscripts, impose martial law and also bid for support from its international allies - such as Belarus"

This escalates to a much bigger war.

So we have leaders with dementia vs cancer patient war. What could go wrong.
