Australia, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea have more of an interest and combined could be just as capable of handling that or any other situation in that region. There is no reason for us to be involved in any way. Your position is only going to enable these countries to rely more heavily on us instead of taking matters in their own hands.I see just fine. And I’m unmoved by your BS. Once guarantees are made then they need to be honored. Petition all you want to minimize our participation in entangling alliances. In fact I agree on that. But once guarantees are made then that’s binding.
Then we shouldn’t have given the guarantee. Here is the frustrating part about all of this... we could just as easily walk away from all of this and unwind it at no cost other than a little bruised ego. It would cost us nothing. Let the Europeans deal with Ukraine. Are you scared that The United States of America inserted themselves into another lose/ lose war?
Well, thats unfortunate...
“That would clearly raise global oil prices, it would have a damaging impact on Europe and other parts of the world, and counterintuitively it could actually have very little negative impact on Russia because although Russia might export less, its price for its exports would go up,” she said.
Also along those lines... looks like a light bulb is beggining to turn on for some of these virtue signaling idealogs...
