Yeah, I’ve had his humidifier cranked up for the last few days. I’m used to him having allergy issues with bad drainage and coughing, but the nearly week long fever is a new one. I give him childrens claritin, Flonase and a vitamin every morning.I know it's late, but do you have a humidifier? Sometimes that can help break some of that stuffyness up. Theres also nasal spray for kids that might help. It's like Flonase.
Does he have tonsils still?Yeah, I’ve had his humidifier cranked up for the last few days. I’m used to him having allergy issues with bad drainage and coughing, but the nearly week long fever is a new one
Yeah, he still has tonsils. I’ll have to ask the doc about thatDoes he have tonsils still?
Both my kids have had theirs out. Big tonsils can cause drainage issues too. 3yo had a grade 4 which is the highest size. Bless her heart.
I'd wager a sinus infection came from a viral. Secondary infections are annoying.
I have a picture of my kid on our first trip to the beach just like this. It's been almost 7 years so I'm having a hard time finding it at the momentWhen in Florida… View attachment 450392
But just to be clear, I shouldn’t freak out, right?
I thought the motrin lasted 8 hrs. That’s the prerogative of any parent…freak out if you want, just don’t scare the kids…
If the Tylenol or Motrin is keeping the fever down, then don’t freak out. Alternate Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours, even waking your child up for a dose. Then see how it goes in the morning.
