As long as you don't inhale you're ok. Otherwise it can st

Don't blue jays do that too?
If it's within their territory but they get that rep from crows. Blue Jay will mimic crow calls to scare away larger birds (other birds use it as a warning) and because of that they get blamed for a lot of things crows do

Once saw a crow fly down from a tree with a good sized starling that looked like it was just about old enough to leave the nest. it landed in the road, killed the bird and flew off with it. Several starlings were trying to attack it but the crow just flew off with the bird like it was no biggie.
I love watching mockingbirds attacking a crow to get it away from their nest

His team assumed the lead in the inning in which he left and never relinquished the lead.

A starter has to go 5 innings to get the win. In this case, the team notified the official scorer that Tidwell was on a pitch count, and he was awarded the win even though they took him out 1/3 of an inning early.

Sounds like something a crow would say, Rish

More of travel than looking for anything specific. For birds most that I can find in Chesapeake I can find the outer banks (which I have). Another thing is we're getting a lot more shore birds in Tennessee that shouldn't be here and I want to compare water samples, temps, micro/macro species so on
We'd be good friends lol. Let me know if you come out this way!

I disagree….. that’s a stupid rule…. If the guy doesn’t go the full five then he shouldn’t get credit for the win.
I never understand why a pitcher is ineligible for the win just because he doesn’t go 5. I can understand why he doesn’t automatically get the win, but ineligible doesn’t make sense to me.

If he leaves with the lead and his team never gives it up, why should another pitcher who goes as little as 1/3 inning get the win?

Back in the day…… it use to mean something to be a starting pitcher…. They were the big deal on a staff….. a quality start was considered 6 innings and you couldn’t win if you couldn’t even muster 5 innings…. Now some teams use relievers to pitch one inning at a time for an entire game…. Still if the rule says he must complete five innings to get the win….. it’s beyond silly to allow a coach to just say he was on a pitch count so give him the win anyways…. I miss pitchers like Nolan Ryan who once threw 235 pitches in a game.
