All true, but I myself tend to look mostly at OBP and total runs. OBP (and also walks) tell me how disciplined the hitters are. And total runs tells you whether they can score with the best of them. Doesn't matter how you score, it's how much do you score.

What a great honor to be a MOM and the wife of an AMERICAN HERO, a member of the US military!! This is my best friend and wife who suffered while I played in many sand boxes . . . My guess is you're a jewel like mine . . . sassy and bossy!!! LOL

Right. And they haven't faced our pitching. I expect afterwards, their offensive numbers will get worse, and our pitching numbers will get worse. Generally works that way. But you know what they say: Good pitching beats good hitting most of the time.

Yep. Was an 0-2 pitch I think. But it wasn't that bad of a pitch. Below his knees, not easy at all to hit out of the park. He gets a lot of credit in my book for being able to drive that pitch anywhere, much less over the fence.
