That was far from the norm though...in 1960. In 2022 if almost a third of russians are still sheiting in a hole in the ground i have trouble considering them a 1st world country....and after this Ukraine BS. The words "near peer adversary" should never be used again when comparing them to the USA. We would roll Ukraine just like we did with Bombs over Baghdad, shock and awe in the gulf war. 2 weeks tops after securing a 100% no fly zone in the 1st 24hours and a few hundred Tomahawk cruise missiles destroying every single command/control center and AAA. These clowns are getting their arses handed to them in just about every conceivable way... and theres video to prove it.

We have been GREATLY misled about the military prowess of the Russian armed forces IMO.
