Has anybody on here ever had a spinal fusion and how well did you recover and is it worth doing?

A last resort option if possible

I've had 2. C5/C6 and C6/C7

My pain is gone, but still have some tightness and lost some rotation. I can still do everything I used to do. Rehab wasn't all that bad. I would do everything you can to avoid the surgery as long as possible...then get the surgery.

Have you done nerve ablation yet? “Burning the nerves”. I did this instead of the spinal fusion and have had great success

Just woke up middle of night , incredible pain, xray showed problem, mri showed they the round bones had slid back out of place, where they were rubbing the front of my spinal cord, which is not what nature intended. Absolutely hate pills but have had to have them to endure

Having titanium put in my c5 c6 area on the 28th, I'll keep u updated, right arm numb and hurts like hell for over 3 weeks now. Miserable pill head I've become, but alas, hopenis on the horizon
