Kasper was Nico's number one priority. Right out of the horse's mouth. I think setting some expectation where noticing that makes you a troll is annoying and tiresome. It is what it is. Nico could have zero impact on getting anyone else in this class, everything will still work out fine, and that statement will still be true.

As someone who gets along in this forum 99% of the time with zero problems until I make some basic negative observation and then get called a troll 47 times, I can attest to the fact that that **** is super annoying. Just my two cents.

I was simply pointing out the irony. You insist it's your right to post what you want, then don't like it when others post what they want. You wanna call me a troll? Fine. Don't care. But if you foster an environment that is constantly negative, I'll call you out...as is my right. Don't like it? Block me.

Because recruiting is inherently forward looking, the RF is full of generally positive and forward looking people. I like that. That's why I post here and avoid the toxic waste dump found elsewhere. If you cannot see that there are a few people who intentionally crap on the RF, then I don't know what to tell you. Again, block me if I offend you.

For the people who don’t believe Tennessee is capable of competing for a national championship anymore, what does a program like Clemson possess that Tennessee does not possess? You could say, well, they’ve got an easier schedule. So, therefor, they’ve got a more workable path. Zoom it out further than that. Because the fact of the matter is Clemson, if they played in the SEC East, would still have been very, very good over the last several years. The caliber of team Dabo put together over the last, since 2014, 2015, whenever that was, they started that national title run, those teams would’ve still been there if they were in Knoxville, Tennessee. My question is what do they possess there (at Clemson) that Tennessee doesn’t? And if you can’t come up with something better than the division or the conference they play in, then the answer is if Clemson has been capable of doing it, Tennessee has always been capable of doing it. The answer is right in front of your face. They haven’t hired the right coaches. They’ve made disastrous coaching hires. The administration, at various points, has been a mess. None of that is fake. It all happened. We’ve seen the results. It all happened. But it doesn’t change the fact that Tennessee never stopped being capable of being a national player. Due to their own internal ineptitude at times, they sabotaged themselves. That’s not the structure of college football changing. That’s not the landscape evolving and leaving them in the dust. They’ve still had the fan passion the entire time. They’ve still had the investment the entire time. They’ve got the massive checkbook by nature of being in the SEC. And, by having those folks fully invested, they’ve got good facilities up there. They’ve continued to enhance and invest in that. Everything that you need to compete has been there. The people that you need in order to compete have not been there. But that’s as easy and as hard as making the right hire. Maybe they just did it a little over 12 months ago. Maybe Josh Heupel is the right guys. Independent of who the head coach is at Tennessee, though, let’s just pretend it’s Josh Heupel or Mr. X. Whoever it is, if that person is the right person, it’s like unlocking a magical door. Everything you could ever want in college football is behind it.
